Stronger in a pack

News and new friends

One month later

I wake up to the feeling of last nights supper making it way back up my throat. I jump out of bed and run to the bathroom. I throw up into the toilet and as song as I start I feel Dean rubbing my back and holding my hair back. Once I'm finish I flush the filet and head over to the sink. "Feeling better now?" Dean asks. "This has been happening to you for a couple of days now."

"Ya I'm fine." I say as I splash some water on my face before brushing my teeth. "Let's just go down stairs." I say as I leave the bathroom and head to the living room. Once I get there I sit on the couch with my head resting on the arm.

"Still not feeling good?" Jenny asks as she sits on the other couch beside me.

"No." I say as I close my eyes.

"I think I know what it is." She says and I open my eyes to look at her.

"What." I ask watching her run her stomach.

"Your pregnant."

"What." I say sitting up a little to fast causing me to be dizzy.

"You mated, you keep throwing up and you just feel yucky." She says listing all the symptoms I have had lately.

"Oh my god." I say realizing she is right. "I remember the feeling yucky part when I had Kenzie but I didn't get sick that often. But that could have something to do with the fact that I was numb half the time."

"Must have been awful." She says and I nod just as faith comes into the room.

"hey what's going on?"

"We think I might be pregnant." I say since I have gotten a lot closer to faith to the point where we are best friends. The rest of my family left two weeks ago to back to home, promising to visit soon.

"Really?" She ask, knowing that I have been sick lately.

"Ya but I want to go to the pack doctor, and make sure before I tell Dean." I say thinking of the hard time I had with Kenzie.

"Well we should go now." Jenny says trying to get up. I stab up and help her up, since her stomach is now huge with her almost being done her pregnancy.

"You sure you want to come?" I ask her knowing her feet have been bugging her.

"Of course, that is my little niece or nephew in their." She says as we leave the house. We get into her car since she can't walk all the way to the pack house. Once we get there we go to the back yard and head in the back door. We head to the room just off of the kitchen we the doctor has a small room for pack members to go if there isn't an emergency. When we get in the door we are lucky to have her sitting at her desk.

"Luna what can I do for you guys." Hazel asks from behind her desk, taking her glasses off.

"Please call me Summer, and I think I'm pregnant and I just want to make sure." I say and she nods.

"Of course Summer, come on in." She says as she leads us into one of the exam rooms. "Lay down on here for me please."

"We'll just sit over here." Jenny says as she sits down on one of the chairs across the room.

"Ok let's see." She says as she lifts my shirt and turns on the monitor. She puts some gel on my stomach before starting to look for a baby. A few seconds later we hear a slight thumping sound. "Well you are indeed pregnant, see this is your baby." She says pointing to the screen.

"I knew it." I hear Jenny say and I just roll my eyes.

"Wow, so this is what their heartbeat sound like." I whisper in ah.
