Stronger in a pack

Pizza tastes bad

Today is Friday but we ended up re scheduling our doctor's appointment because we were invited to a party to welcome a new Luna to one of the packs that we have an alliance with. So I go upstairs and pack bags for us since we will be gone for about four days since this pack isn't one of our neighbouring packs. I make sure to have things for the two girls to do. For this trip there is Dean and I, kenzie Becca, Faith and Damon. Jenny and epic were invited but since they just Senna they decided not to make the trip. "Summer you ready to go?" Dean asks as she walks in the room.

"Ya." I say as I close the last suitcase and zip it up.

"Here let me take this." He says as he lifts the two suit cases from the bed. I go to pick up the carry along bag but he grabs that too.

"I can carry the bags it's not going to hurt me or the baby." I laugh as I follow him out of the room.

"Well excuse me for being a gentleman." He says from in front of me.

"Aww, it's cute you think you're a gentleman." I say as I pass him and walk into the kitchen to grab a water bottle, before going onto the living room. "Come on girls let go get in the truck. "

"Ok." They say as they turn off the tv before heading towards the door. I follow them out closely and watch as they climb into the very back seat. I climb on behind them and sit down behind the passenger seat. Soon Faith joins me in the back seat sitting behind the driver's seat.

"Why aren't you with dean?"

"No reason I just feel tired." I say as I rest my head against the window beside me it and I see Faith nod before talking to the girls. A few minutes later the boys join us and we start to head to a hotel where we will be spending the night before travelling to the pack's land. About an hour into the trip I start to feel like I'm going to be sick. "Dean, can we pull over for a second." I say holding my stomach.

"Is everything ok?" he asks sounding worried with a face to match.

"Ya, I'm just going to throw up." I say as he stops and I climb out before throwing up on the ground with dean rubbing my back. After a few minutes I don't feel sick so we get back into the truck. This time Damon is driving with Faith in the passenger seat, leaving Dean and I in the back. Dean wraps his arm around my shoulders and I rest my head on his chest slowly falling asleep to the sound of his heart.

About six hours later we pull into the hotel and check into our rooms. The ride here went ok with me sleeping for about two hours on Dean and the stops we made for bathroom breaks and just to stretch our legs. Once we reach our room we head out our bags down in the room and figure out where we are sleeping. Since Damon and Faith had their own room we just had to figure who got which bed. Dean and I ended up getting the one closet to the door which happens to be the closet to the bath room. "Daddy can we go swimming?" Kenzie asks from her spot on the bed.

"Umm sure, if it's ok with your mom?"

"Ya sounds good, a swim would be nice." I say as I grab out all of our swimsuits from our bags. I go into the bath room to change into my bikini since I don't have a different one, while Dean changes the girls. Once I'm finished we switched roles so he could get changed.

"Ok so Damon and Faith aren't coming swimming but will pick up super and meet us down at the pool in a couple of hours so we can eat." Dean explains as he walks out of the bathroom with towels for swimming. So we head down to the pool area and put our stuff on the chairs. I sit on one not wanting to get into the pool yet. Dean gets into the pool and helps the girls in.

"Ah, it's cold." Becca says as Dean settles her into the water.

"No it's not." Kenzie says from beside her while swimming around with her water wings.

"It is so but it's getting warmer." She says before swimming over to the ledge. "Come on mommy."

"Fine I'm coming." I say as I stand up and take off my clothes leaving me in a bikini which I didn't want to get in the first place since it shows off all my scars. I hear dean growl when he sees my stomach with all the scars and the fact that my stomach is showing even more now that I'm not wearing his baggy shirt. "Oh hush." I say as I slide into the pool from the edge, and he swims over to me.

"Sorry." I say and we all just enjoy swimming until Faith and Damon come in the room carry two pizzas along drinks and some garlic bread since I can smell it from in the pool. So we all get out and dry off before sitting down at one of the tables. I serve the girls before grabbing some garlic bread since it smells really good.

"Are you going to have anything beside the garlic bread?" Faith asks causing Dean to look at me worriedly even though he and Damon were having their own conversation.

"Of course." I say grabbing a small slice and taking a bite even though it doesn't taste very good.

"Hey can I talk to you for a minute?" Dean asks as he stands up. I nod before following his actions and we go out the sliding door to the garden. It feels weird because I'm only wearing a shirt over my swim suit.

"Is everything ok?" He asks when we are farther away from the doors and by a running fountain so they don't hear us talking.

"Ya, it just doesn't taste good. I think I'm going to go and lay down because I'm feeling kind of tired."

"Ok, want me to walk you back?"

"No thanks I'm good, make sure the girls eat ok." I say and he nods.

"I love you." He says as he gives me a kiss.

"I love you too." I say as is start to make my way back to the room. Dean gave me his room key since mine was in the pool area. On the way back to the hotel room I start to feel a little dizzy but I just push it away. Once in the room I change into another one of Deans shirts before going get in the bed.

Deans pov

Once we all finish eating the girls decide to go back in the pool. "I'm going to go check on Summer I'll be right back can you watch the girls for me?"

"Ya sure." Damon says and Faith stands up.

"I'm coming with you." She says and I stand up.

"No thanks I'm good." I say and she shakes her head.

"Sorry but I want asking she is my sister slash niece and my best friend so I', coming with you."

"Ok then we'll be right back." I say to Damon before walking over to the pool. "Girls I'll be right back, listen to Uncle Damon ok." I say and they just wave to me before going back to playing whatever they were playing before I interrupted them. So we just leave the pool area and head to the room. When I get to the room I open the door with the room key expecting to find Summer lying in bed sleeping but she is lying on the floor in front of the bed.

"Oh god." Faith says as he see's Summer. I immediately rush over and drop to my knees and try to wake her up.

"Summer wake up please." I bed shaking her but not too hard because of the baby. I can hear Faith on the phone with someone so I assume she is getting help.

"Hazel says that the hospital a few blocks away has a werewolf doctor that she will call and have her meet us there." She says before I hear her call an ambulance. As soon as they arrive we are rushed to the hospital.

"You must be Alpha Dean, I promise you I will take good care of your mate and child." He says before they rush through the doors that says to keep out. I go over to the chairs and I punch the wall by them but nit hard enough to damage it since it isn't my wall. A few minutes later Damon and Faith join me in the waiting room along with the girls. They are both crying and they run over to me and I give them a big hug.

"Is mommy and the baby going to be ok?" Faith asks when she stops crying a little so she can talk.

"Ya are they?" Kenzie asks.

"I don't know." I say honestly.

"Everything is going to be ok." Faith says from her spot a chair over while sitting on Damon's lap. She leaves over and gives me awkward hug.
