It feels like watching yourself go crazy and you can't do a thing to stop it.
You wander into a strange carnival. You spot twisted things going on. The abuse of the innocent and not so innocent. Animals forced against their will to do terrible things. Unjust going ons dot the cirque.
There's an odd ride that catches your eye. It's brightly lit unlike the gloomy decor encasing the grounds. Flashing lights border the sign. Colorful letters spell out "LIFE".
The beginning is a simple cart ride out of the entrance and that's about all you can see. The rest is shrouded in darkness the lights no longer illuminating the path. You can hear screams and cries coming from the caves but what draws you in is the cart full of people returning. Some young some old. Some perfectly content and others in the deepest depths of despair.
Those that are happy at the end of this ride give off a blissful feeling that you want to attain for your own. You want that happiness.
So you purchase a ticket and step into the cart. But you don't know what you just did.
For once you start the ride of life,
You must see it to the end.
