The car ride buzzed with leftover energy from the pregame chaos—music still playing softly from the speakers, the streetlights casting golden streaks across Emma's skin as she focused on the road. Her curls were pulled into a soft ponytail, and her lips were still slightly swollen from Abigail's last kiss, which made Abigail grin every time she glanced over.

Emma looked like a goddess behind the wheel. Calm. In control. So damn fine.

Abigail, very much feeling her shots, rested her elbow on the center console and let her fingers trail up and down Emma's thigh—innocent enough at first, but each pass edged a little higher.

Emma gave her a side-eye. "Really?"

"What?" Abigail asked with a smirk, her voice honeyed with flirtation. "I'm just appreciating the view."

"That's how accidents happen," Emma muttered, but there was no heat behind it. Just a flush in her cheeks and a small smile tugging at her lips.

Abigail leaned in, close enough for Emma to feel her breath on her neck. "You want me to stop?"

Emma's breath hitched. She swallowed. "I want you to behave."

"That's not a no."

Emma gripped the wheel tighter, biting back a smirk of her own. "You're lucky I like you."

"You love me," Abigail teased, inching her hand just a little higher. "And you look so good when you're pretending to stay focused."

Emma laughed under her breath, eyes still on the road. "You're a menace."

Abigail leaned closer, brushing a kiss to her jaw. "Only for you."

They stopped at a red light. Emma shifted in her seat and turned to face Abigail—and without saying a word, she reached out and gently wrapped her hand around the side of Abigail's neck, her thumb brushing along her jaw.

The look in her eyes was heavy with affection... and warning. "Keep teasing me like that," she said softly, "and I swear, I'll pull over right now."

Abigail's breath caught, her smirk faltering for half a second before she melted into the pressure of Emma's hand. "Promise?"

"You know the second we get back home," she murmured, "you're not getting away with any of this teasing, right?"

Abigail beamed. "Good. I wasn't trying to."

From the back seat, Megan let out a low whistle. "That was hot."

Ashley, wide-eyed and grinning, nodded. "Okay... I did not expect that but I am living for it."

Emma didn't let go just yet. She held Abigail's gaze, the kind of look that made time freeze, that said everything without saying a word. Then finally, the light turned green and she pulled her hand back, clearing her throat as she returned both hands to the wheel.

Abigail was stunned silent for once, still feeling the ghost of Emma's hand on her skin, her heart pounding in all the best ways.

As they neared the club, Abigail leaned back in her seat, eyes closed and smile playing at her lips. "Y'all are not ready for the trouble I'm about to cause tonight."

"Oh, we definitely are," Megan said, laughing.

Emma just smirked, one hand back on the wheel and the other casually resting over Abigail's thigh again, but this time—it was her doing the teasing.

Backseat chaos continued. Megan was kissing Ashley like the club didn't even exist, her hand splayed over Ashley's thigh, slipping higher with every curve of Ashley's body pressed into hers. Ashley moaned softly into Megan's mouth, her hand sliding under Megan's shirt.
