Part 4:1:1 Nelly's Triumph, The First Destiny

"Wake up child! Destiny is calling out to your very being! Can you not feel it young one?"

.... Everything is blurry... And bright!

"Good god! What is this place?!"

I look around in Amazement: I am in the spirit world. I just know it... But I don't know how I know it...

Oww! I head feels like it is going to burst!

Silence.... I look up to find a man, no a machine? He looks to be both. I can't honestly define where our not it is even male. It's body consist of solid iron and copper, with intricate sets of gears interlocked in his chest.

The most unique part of his feature: his arm. It's bulky at the shoulder as wiring is partially exposed under leather skin that ends just above his elbow. His elbow itself appears to be a spinning device with gauges at the joint.. The words and symbols on it are cryptic.. But familiar.

Wait, those are Roman Numerals. His hand to his wrist is all machine, and his four fingers each end in different a different colored light.

"Who are you? What is the meaning of this? What is this?" My head starts burning again.

It's like thoughts are being branded into my mind.... Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhhh!

The pain subsides, but it left it's roll on me. I vomit from the sensation, and lean back while I cough out, "where is everyone?" I could still feel tears.

The machine itself is faceless, but words could be heard from it somehow. "Tell me who you are."

"Who I am? Who are you?"

"Girl you must answer my question or we will never make progress."

This seems odd.. "I am Nelly Lancor, I am twenty five, blood type a+..."

How do I know this? I've never even been presented this information! Now, it seems I know more about myself than ever!

"What had happened to me? How do I know all this?"

"I am The Revered Automatious Sage of Time Space Perspective and the Maelstrom. But you may call me... John."

"Dafuck? What kind abbreviation is John? "

"It's not, child. It's a simpler name to remember my being by."

"But, my calculations assumed that a girl of Caucasian ethnicity and of relevantly standard intelligence would have no trouble remembering such a common name."

Wow, he's a Sage and he stereotypes.. Great... "Why don't you let me name you? That way I can remember it easier?"

I can't tell of he went for it. The lack of capability to express it's emotion, of any, didn't help me much.

My destiny? End of the world?
