So what will it be this time? I must ask myself this each time I open my eyes, for I have seen the end of light. In my sleep I have heard murmurs of host, and of the seven diety sins.

I do not fear. In order to fear, other senses of emotion most manifest themselves in ones heart. For hatred, love. For fear, hope. It is but natural for a world depraved of such luxuries, to turn to the counterparts, however it is irrelevant to devise such a trivial coping mechanism.

If the rest of the world knew what I did, hope would be rendered a treasure to be found. Hope would be worth its meaning in gold.

And death, this world has found a way to overcome it. They have removed the folly of age and disease, leaving murder the only source of departing this world.

But the departure itself is now a matter of fate. Before the squall, the faithful believed they could attain their paradise. Every man could strive for it, so at the end of there life, their rest was everlasting.

The squall signified not the end of the world, but the end of divinity. It's true nature is of fear and detachment. Our new world was formed from the wreckage of many dieties and spirits claiming as many souls to carry to the next world. Wherever this new world may be of unknown. But this one has been marked...

By Alrach.

Truth has it: the untold prophecy of a god amongst men. He would not exist until hope was extinguished from the plane of his next feast, and his diet consistent strictly of divine energy. The Norse gods the first to go. Valhalla may still stand, and legends of the pantheon may still remain, but its gods slain. Even the giants where consumed by Alrach.

Then the Roman and Greek gods. Pitiful really, they were so ready for the fight, after millennia of war amongst brother and sister, father and son, there was a truce. However, the death of the three brothers would drive the surviving beings into hiding.

Most rest of the pantheons abandoned the earth after the fall of the temple of kami. If spirits derived from existence itself could be dismissed, what's not to say the other pantheons were safe?

But my sacrifice was with while...

I, ETRIUS, KILLED THE SLAYER OF GODS!

But I was not alone. For it took the assistance of the shini, the gogori, and the Titans...

The titans.. Their sacrifice was greater than mine. From their's can be no redemption.... That's what happens when you fall into the claws of humanity.

But now. It would seem the shinigami and the gogori have taken to resetting the conditions to resurrect Alrach. This is where I stand now: amongst those awaiting my command, to quell the remnants of the squall to cleanse the earth. For this reason I must awaken.

For this reason, I must open my eyes.

"Ba-al! Cut it out!" He's once again attempting to eat Etrius's body. I still think we only need the hand. But with everyone here I suppose we need everything now. Luciere can be such a downer.

What are we supposed to do with him anyways? Luciere days he will lead us, but I doubt he even knows what the world has come to! I hope I didn't need Mammon...

.... I haven't seen him since the IAC break-in....

I walk over to his reading place. His eyes are colorless, along with his lips, his skin. Just paste white... Great, he's probably dead.

I look at Luciere, finally revealing my frustration, "this really productive! We have a secret weapon, bit no means to fire it! Smooth Lucy Lu! Nice plan!"

A hand as cold as Antarctic ice clasp my wrist. My arm, it's cracking! I feel my flesh becoming motionless, and my head lightens from the lack of blood flow.

Finally the hand tightens it grip, and shatters my hand from the wrist. Alrach's ink quickly traced my arms figure and mended it.

The process took a good minute, but no one tell. We are all amazed at the awakening monster before us.. Even in his human form, you could feel a sense of helplessness when placed both feet on the ground.

On his feet, he straightens his back, revealing a terrifying composure of apathy and danger. One that could never be anticipated from his slumbering body.

His voice... It was feel and unearthly.... What will he day first...

"I agree with Jack, Luciere. Surely you could have utilized my time away from reality."

Luciere replaced her suprised with instant rage "I was in charge! It was the best option! That's why I am charge! If it were up to Jack, you would have been flesh giblets in a demons paunch, you ungrateful piece of shit!"

Ba-al applies his input "did someone wake up on the wrong side of the gold plated bed this morning?"

Typical, we finally teach our milestone, and note we tear each other apart.

All this. Silenced by one word.

"Tamiel."

Motion seemed to cease as we look towards the demigod in confusion anxiety..

"You called me because Tamiel may or may not resurrect Alrach to finish off this realm? I know I'm correct I feel it... The shinigami have been manipulated to side with him. What you don't know is the IAC is also in on all this action.

Now that you know what to aim at... Try to get a grasp on your situation. You will never stand a chance against your enemies in your state. Pull yourself together... Then you should consider deciding a battle strategy.. We are facing a triad. We aren't gonna take them out one by one. We have to hit them, and hit them hard. As many loose ends as possible need to be tied up if this is to be accomplished.

Hope and death is all you have? You're all fond of saying that, but it's time you learn some new words: knowledge and power.. Hope only gets you do far.. Death is the weak warrior's way out.

If you were do intent on staging a war, you deny yourself the right to use indefinite language. From today forward you need only know victory.

By any means, attain it.

I'll be in my quarters, those who survive until sunrise should come see me then..."

Upon that note, he disappears into a blue flash. I must ask, "what did he mean, survive until sunset?"

At the moments call, the walls of Luciere's fort shook until one crumbled down. We narrowly avoided the debris as we get on our feet and into our fighting stances..

I call out to them "so, who could that be, knocking on the door so late at night?"

A winged, floating being revealed himself from the smoke. He had no features save for his mouth, which dripped black fluids from both corners of his mouth. The angel-like creature would have been nude of it weren't for the lengths of black chain wrapped around it's body. Every few feet of chain a black slit of paper with ruins scribed into each one.

"I am Oragnik, of the Nightshade Valkyries, and we are here for Etrius... But you all can be taken as consolation, it seems we have missed him."

We gaze up at the lone emissary. Should we be concerned.. They are revered for their tenacity when it covers to collecting souls... But to come alone.

Vlad stands up straight, spitting fire from his lips as new most Oragnik, "it's one of you, and six of us! You think you can win?"

Oragnik laughs with sheer degrading amusement. A single flap of his wings clears the smoke and dust from the wreckage revealing hundreds... No thousands of valkyries... All here for us now.

Before we even have time to declare it.. Our own war may prove to be too much for us.

Luciere arise from her seat "leviathan, Beezulbub, Mammon, Belaphegor, Satan, and I... Lucifer... Before this we were meter host of these beings, tonight we take their place in glory! "

It's time.... I unsheath my blades as we charge into the swarm...

... A war has started... But will we really end it, or will it end us?
