When Yunho forced the two of us out of bed shortly after rocking my world to train, I didn't expect... this. I assumed I'd be thrown into another one-on-one with Mingi, or maybe even another flying lesson, bar the fact that it's a particularly foggy Merene morning. All thoughts of those two possibilities were immediately dashed. We entered the courtyard to see Seonghwa wearing his trademark blank expression while leaning against the stone wall right next to the exit. As Yunho and I walked closer, his fiery green gaze flicked to the both of us, no doubt knowing exactly what transpired between me and my newly mated bonded.

He was dressed in a black long sleeve top and leather vest, both of which hugged his body like a second skin. His pants were no different, the leather cinched to his thighs until the tops of his black boots covered the rest of him from below the knee. He pushed himself off the wall without a word, slightly tilting his head in a motion for Yunho and me to follow. A bit awkwardly, I glance over my shoulder to Yunho, who gave me a noncommittal shrug before placing a hand on my lower back and steering us in the wake of Seonghwa.

Though the fog was dense this morning, the further into the clearing we got, the more I was able to see the setup waiting for me. As well as another individual who seemed to be joining today's session. Yeosang gave me a soft smile upon seeing my approach, handing off the bow he had in hand to Seonghwa in favor of greeting me.

"Good morning, Y/N."

I smiled as he crossed the short distance between us. Opening my arms to him, he pulled me into an embrace. He pressed a quick kiss to my forehead.

"Ready?"

It wasn't quite nerves that fluttered through me, but I had to admit that I didn't really know what to expect from this training. I'd gotten comfortable with the way Yunho ran things. I hardly knew anything about Seonghwa, let alone his training methods. I glanced towards the man in question. His back was turned to us, attention focused on the bow in his hands that Yeosang had passed off. He tested the string, plucking it lightly before grabbing a nearby arrow and notching it.

Shamelessly, I zeroed in on the way the muscles in his shoulders and back flexed as he pulled back on the string. He steadied his hand before adjusting his sight, looking down the courtyard to the three various hay-filled sacks that would serve as targets for today's session. Without a word, he dropped his hold, the arrow still within his grasp before tossing it to the side.

"Come here."

Seonghwa didn't even have to look at me, I knew he was addressing me directly. I forced my feet to move, coming up behind him as he tugged on the laces of his vambrace. A bit awkwardly, I came to a stop beside him, casting a glance over the bow he still held and the multitude of quivers containing dozens of arrows on the other side of him. Seonghwa offered his hand, waiting until I took it to speak.

"I didn't have time to find you an arm guard of your own, so, for now, you'll wear mine." He stated, lacing up the thick leather he had slid over my forearm.
