Black.

Blacker.

Even blacker.

Why?

Why is this happening?

What is happening?

I don't understand it.

All I remember is a scream, a flash and then it went black.

Every now and then I hear this weird beeping noise.

But it seems like it means nothing.

Every now and then I have the strangest dreams.

But I can never remember them.

I remember having a weird dream.

But I don't remember what it was.

What is happening?

I don't understand it at all.

Am I dead?

No.

No I shouldn't be.

Why would I be.

I don't understand.

It all doesn't make sense.

His cold fingers wrapped around my wrist as he tugged at it again. "Just one more time," he'd said.

But that's what he said last time.

And all the times before that.

"It's a short fall."

"The waters not that cold."

"I know you can swim!"

"Come on!"

As he tugged me one more time the dream dissolved.

"What's wrong?" I asked the sobbing Izzy in my arms.

She was shaking.

She was scared.

She looked up at me with blood red eyes.

But Izzy's eyes aren't red.

"DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT MY PROBLEM IS?!" She yelled ripping out of my grasp.

"IT'S LIKE YOU NEVER KNEW ME!" She yelled.

She stormed over to the other side of the room, picking up a vase and flinging it as far as she could.

"DIDN'T YOU EVER LISTEN TO ME?!" She yelled her hair whipping around in some kind of invisible wind.

"I THOUGHT WE WERE BEST FRIENDS" she exclaimed as all the windows started to crack.

I could feel small tears falling down my cheeks.

"WHY WERE YOU NEVER THERE FOR ME?!"

The windows smashed.

"I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY I WAS EVER FRIENDS WITH YOU!"

She picked up some scissors.

"WHY! WHY!"

She flung the scissors at the wall.

"WHY! THATS ALL I WANT TO KNOW!"

And I broke.
