Wednesday and Enid's dorm had been transformed into an intense war room, Wednesday and bulletins, pictures, and white boards everywhere. The two girls had set up shop on Wednesday's side, while the kids and older Enid were on the other side.

"The list of suspects are thin, we killed Tyler last year." Wednesday spoke.

"And Laurel Gates is in a maximum security prison." Enid finished.

Wednesday looked around at all the clues she'd compiled, she knew there was something in this room that would bring her one step closer to ending this whole thing. As her eyes scanned the room they landed on her crystal ball that was almost out of sight. She's no longer had to use it since her mother is now her on campus, but it did give her an idea.

"Enid, put on your shoes and jacket. I've got our first lead." Wednesday spoke hopping to her feet already slipping into her boots and sweater.

"Mother, do you think you could walk me over to father's place?" Tish asked.

"I don't know Tish, he may still need some time." Wednesday spoke back, still getting ready.

"Well yes I know, it's just he's always told me that even on his darkest day... I'll always be able to move the clouds." Tish spoke back.

Wednesday looked at the girl considering her words. "Ok Tish, but please don't give your father any trouble and I really mean it young lady."

"Trust me she won't, and even if she was, just being with her would bring Xavier's spirits up, you should take the baby too." Older Enid cut in.

"Ok, Tish put an invisibility spell over Miercoles and yourself and let's go. Vincent don't give Aunt Enid any trouble, and do as your told THE FIRST TIME you're told to. Understand?" Wednesday lectured putting emphasis on the end

"I understand mommy."

"I love you my little man, I'll be back soon." And with that Wednesday, Enid, Tish, and Miercoles exited.

Older Enid and Vincent slowly turned to look at each other.

"HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA MARATHON?" They both spoke at the same time.

"I'll grab the popcorn." Vincent spoke.

"I'll grab the pizza and rent the movies." Older Enid responded.

Xavier was laying in his bed scrolling through tiktok.
He was furiously scrolling barely even giving any video a chance. He's felt like shit since the incident and he's barely been able to muster up the willpower to get in the shower. Wrappers and doordash takeout that Bianca has grabbed and brought to his door litter all around his bed.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

Xavier just ignored the door, it's as if the sound didn't register to him. He just continued to scroll, if it was the cops again they'd get Ms. Addams to let them in like before.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

"I'm not home!" Xavier yelled at the door.

"Father it's me." Tish spoke from the other side of the door.

That caused Xavier's head to snap towards the door. He just stared at it, contemplating.

"I'm concerned for you . . . and I- I miss you. I know what's happening is hard, but you have to be strong." Tish continued to speak.

The moment she said she missed him, Xavier could no longer hold back the tear that was threatening to leave his eye as she continued.

"You know when people see me they instantly say oh she's just like her mother, but when they normally say it it's in a negative light. Then there's the positive things, she's smart like her mother, but she's strong like her father, she can draw like her father, she's an archery prodigy just like her father, she even laughs like her father... maybe you're still not getting it, but I am a daddy's girl and I need my father right now, I truly loved my uncle and this has hurt me too." Tish spoke her voice breaking towards the end.

Xavier was full on bawling at this point as he got out of his bed wiping his tears, and going to open the door. When he opened it Wednesday was standing there with an arm around Tish who was holding Miercoles. He tried to compose himself sniffling and wiping his nose and eyes.

"Is all that true Tish?" Xavier asked looking at her like a lifeline.

"Of course, there's no one who could ever replace or measure up to what you mean to me father." Tish spoke back trying her best to soften her normally hard features.

Tish looked up at Wednesday and handed her Miercoles before turning back to her father and giving him a large embrace. Xavier instantly reciprocated lifting his daughter off her feet and just reveling in the comfort of his child. He then opened his other arm looking at his girlfriend. Wednesday hesitantly joined the embrace, letting one of rare smiles on display.

"Xavier I think you need to start therapy again."  Wednesday spoke in the middle of the embrace looking at him seriously.

"Wednesday he was my best friend."

"It doesn't excuse shutting yourself off and falling into a textbook depression, I need you, our kids needs you, Enid out there in the car needs you, and most importantly right now your best friend needs you." Wednesday spoke back breaking the embrace looking expectantly for a respone.

"It's called grief Wednesday."

"This form of grief isn't healthy Xavier, you know it and I know it. I love you, we'll finish this talk later. I have to go catch your best friend's killer while you "grieve." Wednesday spoke exiting the room walking out with her mind racing.

She'd taken note of the smell, lots and lots of empty alcohol and all the empty food containers in general. Xavier was playing a dangerous game with his mental health and she knew it. She had to get Ajax back and soon.
