Wednesday entered the car quickly and acting unusually anxious. Enid instantly picked up on the change in Wednesday's behavior from just ten minutes ago.

"Was everything alright up there?" Enid began, making Wednesday's eyes snap towards hers.

"He's been drinking, it's nothing." Wednesday simply stated expecting Enid to figure the rest out.

"Goddamit Wednesday, can we have an actual conversation sometimes, you know about your feelings instead of all the constant mindfucking?!" Enid spoke slightly raising her voice.

Enid's profanity and raised voice took Wednesday aback. Whenever Enid spoke like this, that normally meant Wednesday had one last chance to say the right thing or run the risk of pissing her off.

Wednesday paused for just a split second, choosing her words carefully, "Enid, I think Xavier is in a depression?"

Wednesday's words hit Enid like a train, life was simply happening to quickly, "What can we do?" Enid asked almost desperately.

Wednesday took a deep breath and did her best to remove her emotions from her face, "We find out who killed Ajax."

Wednesday started up the car and looked at Enid, "I've got you if you've got me Enid."

"I've always got you Wednesday." Enid responded with no hesitation.

Wednesday gave a small smile and backed out of the lot. They didn't end up driving long, only a few minutes across campus to the administration building. Wednesday and Enid hastily entered and headed straight into Morticia's office.

Morticia was behind the desk scrolling on the computer and only noticed the girls when the door slammed shut.

"Wednesday? Is everything alright darling?" Morticia asked looking around her monitor.

"In the future I master spells involving time travel..." Wednesday spoke stopping and looking at her mother expectantly.

"And?" Morticia asked.

"And surely you must know some spells proficiently enough to time travel." Wednesday finished.

"Well yes, I do know some spells, is everything ok?"

"Enid and I have to go back and stop Ajax's death, I'm almost sure it was a time traveler who killed him." Wednesday responded.

"Well do you girls know who killed him?" Morticia asked.

"No mother, that's why we're here... to catch a killer not play 21 questions." Wednesday snapped.

"Chill out Wednesday, she's just trying to get all the facts." Enid interjected.

"Well girls, you're gonna have to give me a killer before I do anything remotely close to altering our timeline." Morticia explained.

"So if we prove that the killer is a time traveler who altered the timeline, you'll give us the spell?" Enid asked hopefully.

"Absolutely." Morticia spoke sincerely.

"Ok, thank you so much Mrs. Addams." Enid spoke hopefully while dragging a furious Wednesday out of the room.

When they made it into the hallway Wednesday removed Enid's hand from her arm, " You act like I did something wrong, she was questioning us more than a damn detective.

"Ok but we need her Wednesday." Enid argued.

"No the only thing we need... is to find out, who killed Ajax?"
