DON'T LOCK THE DOOR

Xavier is walking through campus dodging people as he dials on his phone.  He clicks Ajax's contact and puts the phone to his ear.

"Wassup X."

"Nothing, what are you doing?"

"Getting ready to hop in the shower and then probably play the game." Ajax responded back.

"Cool, I just need you to make sure you leave the door unlocked, I forgot my key and I'm gonna be a lil late. "

Xavier stopped in front of the very familiar Ophelia
Hall.

"I'm going to surprise Wednesday and give her a break from the kids." Xavier spoke into the phone.

"I love you man but we live together, door unlocked got it, don't need your whole life story bro."

"Dickhead." Xavier muttered as he pulled the phone from his ear.

"Heard tha-." Ajax's line was cut short by Xavier ending the call.

Ajax sat his phone down on his desk and grabbed his shower caddy and exited the room.

4 HOURS LATER

Ajax is lying in bed on facetime with Enid. His back is to the door and he's under his covers.

"Babe that place is high as hell." Ajax exclaimed into the phone.

Suddenly Enid's phone is grabbed and Xavier's face is now smugly in the screen.

"Stop being a cheapskate and take your lady out to a dinner worthy of her bro."

"Number one you're a simp, number two you're filthy rich, and lastly screw you put my girlfriend back on the phone."

"Love you too buddy." Xavier smugly smirked as he handed the phone back to Enid.

"You should ban him from your room." Ajax said jokingly.

"Can't, my roommate is tragically in love with him." Enid spoke back looking in Wednesday's direction.

"I see you're looking for an early grave that I'll happily provide, if you ever use such disgusting language regarding me and my significant other ever again."Wednesday spoke off screen.

"You're all talk." Enid shot back teasingly.

"Babe I wouldn't test that." Ajax spoke into the phone.

"I second that." Xavier yelled off screen.

Enid rolled her eyes. "Back to business though mister, you're not off the hook. When's our next date?"

Ajax sighed, he hated disappointing Enid. "Babe I don't really have any money... I'm sorry."

"But I do." Enid said back.

Enid got out of her bed and walked out into the hallway.

She looked at the phone seriously. "I've told you Ajax, there's two people in a relationship. I don't mind paying."

"That's so embarrassing though, you're too special to be paying for dates." Ajax said back into the phone sincerely.

Enid can't help but feel warmth from Ajax's words. She smiles at him in the camera.

"I wanna spend time with you baby and become the Enid and Ajax those two little kids in there talk about all the time." Enid said seriously.

"I know our relationship is strong enough for me to pay for a couple of our dates." Enid said looking into his eyes hoping to show she genuinely is ok with it.

Ajax just grinned at his girlfriend. Enid couldn't help but grin back.

"I love you so much." Ajax said looking her in her eyes.

"I love you too, you make me feel like the only girl in this world and I wanna spend time with you."

Ajax eyes watered slightly. "Come on babe, what I'd say about making me cry."

Enid just chuckles into the phone as she walks back into her room.

CLICK!

The lock to Ajax's room clicks and the door opens. The light from the hall momentarily illuminates the room before the door closes and it's enveloped by darkness again.

"Damn Xavier got back kinda quick."

Enid frowned in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"He's already here."

Enid's heart dropped. She wasn't looking at her phone, she was looking in the direction of Wednesday's bed.

"Baby?" Enid said with fear in her voice.

"What?" Ajax asked genuinely confused.

"Xavier is still in my room. That's not him." Enid said breaking down in between words.

"Huh?" Ajax said as he turned to look at the door, but he's attacked by a figure in all black with ginger hair hanging from the bottom of their ski mask.

Ajax screams when he sees the person. The attacker tries to drill a kitchen knife through Ajax's stomach but he quickly moves and it goes through his leg instead.

"FUCKKKK!" Ajax said grimacing through the pain.

"NOOOO!" Enid screamed looking at the phone desperately as the attacker violently stabbed Ajax's shoulder next.

Wednesday and Xavier quickly go over to her side of the room. They're already very concerned since everyone been so on edge anyways.

"Enid what's happening?" Xavier asks.

"Someone's attacking Ajax. We've gotta get over there." Enid said running to the door while talking.

"AJAX WHAT'S HAPPENING?! AJAX PLEASE!!" Enid pleaded into her phone desperately.

Ajax is now on the floor crawling towards the door as the attacker watches. They spot his phone and grabs it coming face to face with Enid. Her face pales and her heart drops. The attacker then flips the camera to show the struggling Ajax as they slowly begin tracking him with the kitchen knife in camera.

"NO! PLEASE WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Enid yells out as she swings the door open running out and knocking over a woman.

Wednesday instantly on high alert pulls out her ankle knife pointing it at the stranger.

"Who are you and why are you loitering in front of my door?" Wednesday questions urgently.

"Well technically it's my door too." The woman answered back.

Wednesday instantly began to scan the woman's features in pure shock. "Enid?"

"Live and in the flesh."

"Holy shit." Xavier says staring at future Enid in shock.

Sorry guys life has been on one, but I think this is a good chapter to get us into the swing of things again.
