That's the end of Mayara's story, and I really hope you all enjoyed reading it.
I want to take a moment to share something personal. When I started writing this story, I was in a very dark place—struggling with depression and an eating disorder. It was hard to see any light at all. Writing Mayara's story was a way for me to process my feelings, to give voice to the fears and struggles that felt impossible to share.
Now, I'm in a much better place. I still have hard days, but I've learned something important: there is always light at the end of the tunnel. No matter how hopeless things feel, things can get better.
The most important step is to talk about it. Talk to your friends, family, or a professional—someone you trust. You don't have to face it alone. And if that feels too hard, if it seems like no one is there... you can even talk to me. I'll listen, I'll try to understand, and I'll do my best to help.
Mayara's journey is a reminder that progress is possible, even in tiny steps. Eating a snack, singing on stage, surviving one day without hurting yourself—these are victories. And so are you. Every time you reach out, every time you survive a difficult moment, you are showing incredible strength.
Life can be scary and messy, but it's also full of moments worth holding onto. Keep fighting. Keep speaking. Keep believing that tomorrow can be brighter.
You are not alone. And you are stronger than you know.
