P.O.V. Demi

Mayara seems to be doing really well in her recovery. She's making progress, and I'm so proud of her.

But then there's me. I'm still a little messed up inside. No matter what I do, I can't shake this feeling that I'm a horrible sister. Marissa keeps telling me I'm not, but the voices in my head don't care—they keep whispering otherwise. Yes, the voices are still there.

My phone buzzes. I see it's my manager, Phil.

"Phil?" I answer.

"Demi! Hi! I need to tell you something," he says.

"Okay... is it good news or bad news?" I ask, trying to sound casual.

"I think it's good news. You're going on tour again!" His excitement practically jumps through the phone.

"Cool..." I mutter nervously. He probably didn't hear it because he keeps talking.

"We're thinking of calling it the SNS Tour. Does that work for you?"

"SNS Tour sounds kind of basic. How about SNS Sister Tour?" I suggest.

"Why would you do that?" he asks, confused.

"I'll explain later. It has to do with my opening act," I say before hanging up.

I already have so many ideas for this tour. This could be something amazing. I want to invite Marissa and my family, and maybe Nick and Joe Jonas could sing a few songs with me. And... I'm thinking Mayara could do something big too.

I create a group chat on WhatsApp and add Marissa, Dallas, my parents, Madison, Nick, Joe, and Mayara. Predictably, the messages start flooding in:

Marissa: Why this group?
Dallas: What's going on?
Mayara: OMG WHAT IS THIS?!

I type quickly:
Me: Hi guys ;) I have some exciting news!

I name the group "SNS Sister Tour."

Dallas: COOL SIS!
Madison: YEAH!
Marissa: OMG THAT'S AMAZING!
Nick: We're all invited, right?
Me: Yes, of course. I was thinking maybe Nick and Joe could join me for some songs. Nick and I could do "Avalanche," and Joe and I could do "This Is Me." :)
Joe: Wow, old times! I'm in!
Mayara: Is there an opening act? BTW I already love this tour ;) Can Liliana come too?
Marissa: I hope I'm not the opening act. Sorry LOL :)
Me: No, it's not you, Mar :) But yes, there is a very special opening act. And yes, Liliana can come too, if her parents are okay with it.
Mayara: THANKS!
Dallas: Tell us who it is!
Me: You'll all find out tonight—come to my house at 8. See you there!

I put my phone down, smiling. I hope Mayara gets excited when she hears this. She's so talented, and when she was younger, she always told me she wanted to be like me. I know she even has some of her own songs, and I can't wait to see her shine.
