Ian's POV

It was another day at school, another terrible day. I've been hearing so many different rumors, they would be bad or good or just plain stupid.

I wasn't excited, yet I wanted to go. It wasn't that I wanted to learn, nor was it that I was excited to be beaten up. It's just, something I can't answer.

I left Anthony with no answer that night, he decided not to bug me about it. I was glad he didn't or I would've cried. I hate crying it always gives me a headache.

But, on the other hand. It's Monday, the happiest day of the week. I hated ever single week of school. It's always, presentation, poems, projects, book reviews, plays, stupid shit.

I hated it all, it always made me want to kill myself so much more. But, I do have my mom and It would break my heart into a million pieces to see her unhappy.

I just have to stay strong, and I will. I'm still the same old me, but I just don't feel anything anymore. All I have left in me is fear, that's why I jump every time someone passes me or talks to me.

But, I'm learning slowly to ignore it.

I grabbed my back pack slowly, slipping on my shoes. I pulled out my eyeliner and wiped it around my eyes, stuffing it back into my backpack. I snapped my head behind me, when I heard a small voice. "Ian, babe are you okay?" Anthony whispered, wrapping his arms around me.

I looked down, digging my hands into my pockets. "I'm fine." I mumble. He furrows his eyebrows, pulling me into his chest. "Honey, what's wrong?" He cooed sweetly at me.

I shook my head slowly, sighing softly and slowly removing his hands. "Anthony, I'm fine." I keep mumbling. He turned my head towards him, cupping my cheeks, staring directly into my eyes. "Ian, tell me what's wrong right now." He says, very seriously.

I pushed his hands away, crossing my arms. "It's 6:30, we have to get to school." I said. He sighed and grabbed his back pack. "We'll be talking about this later." He mumbled.

I groaned and looked down at his hand slightly. He looked over at me, smiling slightly and gripping my hand gently.

I sighed and gripped his hand back softly. "Let's just go.." I mumble. He nudges me playfully. "What has you in such a rush?" He teased.

I sighed again, looking down. "I don't know.. just.. bored." I said. He smiled and slid his arm around my shoulders. "Well, hey. How about we go do something today?" He said, pulling me close to him.

I paused and looked over at him. "Like.. a date?" I asked. He grinned and nodded slowly. "A date!" He squealed, grinning widely.

I widened my eyes, blushing immensely. He took my hand slowly, looking down at me. "Ian Hecox, will you go on a date with me?" He asked, looking down at me with loving eyes.

I blushed intensely, gulping softly. "S-Sure.." I whispered, slightly shocked. He grinned widely and wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me out the door, having the hugest grin on his face.

I sighed softly and hunched over slightly, feeling his arm pull my closer to him. We reached the bus stop and I sat down on the bench, crossing my legs and leaning on my hand, hearing Anthony playing games on his phone.

I heard the same flapping nous along with the loud, thumping noise over five thousand times. My anger meter was about to explode. I heard one last thump, before I turned around and took his phone, stuffing it in my pocket.

He gasped and whined loudly. "Hey!! I was almost to 100!!" He said, pouting. I shook my head, sighing. "I think you've had enough of that game.." I mumbled, closing my eyes.

He squinted and crossed his arms. "That's not fair.." He mumbled back. I rolled my eyes and zipped the zipper to my pocket. "You can have it back, at the end of the day." I mumbled again, tapping my foot frantically.

He groaned and leaned back against the bench. "Where the fuck is the bus?!" He said, groaning loudly. I shrugged and closed my eyes. "It's nice out here at least.." I blushed softly, looking up as I heard the sound of the bus rolling around the corner.

I wonder why there's never a sign on the front of it, glowing brightly in red just saying "Ride to hell!". But I guess that would be too obvious.
