Anthony had been lost in thought that whole week, ignoring the fact that every voice that lived inside him were yelling that they needed education more than a stupid love story that would most likely end within the years passing.
But did Anthony listen? Hell no.
Ian was fast asleep, the day had gone by in a blink, zoning out and cuddles, not much more had happen beyond that.
The weather was getting colder, as November approached. The sun was still gleaming at different times of the day, but the wind would overtake its heat in a mild second. The raindrops were cold and sharp, you couldn't escape them if you tried.
Ian and Anthony didn't care much, they only embraced each other's warmth as they inhaled the humid scent of rain that filled their lungs and made a free smile that stretched their cheeks. The smell of rain always cleared their heads and let them relax into each other's arm, this was life now.
Anthony smiled at the ceiling as if it was handing him a big meal filled with all his favorite foods. He imagined the future, the ceiling smiled right back towards him.
Ian lay below his shoulder, his face turned away and letting his shoulder blades clamp against Anthony's bicep. Anthony couldn't believe it, someone has actually had the ability to overlap his depression with love. Not even his father could do that, only his mother could- before Ian came along.
Anthony always would zone out and go into dream land about the future. He would never imagine himself leaving his room, meeting other people and feeling the same way Ian does. They both lost their mom, how iconic? Not really. Anthony never imagined someone pulling him out of his room and showing him what it was like to love again, what it was like being outside.
He broke the gaze with the crinkled ceiling and looked down at Ian's soft body. He was lightly napping, and it was letting his body gently endure Anthony's soft warmth.
He softly pulled his arm from Ian's shoulders. His arm had fallen asleep, he raised it above his head as pins and needles began to poke his skin, he winced at himself and went to his room with his phone. He let an exhale slither beneath his lips, this was the right choice, the time was right and it was quite obvious.
He chewed his lip before sitting down and removing his teeth from the torn skin. "Okay- breathe Anthony." He let his thumbs dial the number and he held the speaker to his ear.
"Anthony?" The cheery voice echoed within his ear. He stared at his lap. "Yes it's me, I have a favor to ask."

Ian slightly let his eyes flutter open, the room was dimmed, the sunlight turning the walls a violent orange that painted in stripes.
He rubbed his fists onto his eyes to hopefully remove the blur that covered his eyes as he looked around the room. It was freezing, he grabbed his side as he got up.
Where was Anthony?
His thoughts got interrupted as his stomach rumbled beneath his shirt, a groan popping from his lips as he limped to the kitchen. He roamed the floor, opening cabinets and sneaking different snacks and drinks. But to his sadness, nothing appealed to his delight.
He sighed and grabbed a tall glass, pouring some almond milk into the cup, it had gone bad obviously. He saw the chunks of milk piling at the bottom of the glass. He grimaced, when did this milk expire?
He picked up the carton and read the date, Best By October 2nd. He groaned, looking at the calendar they had hanging from the wall with pictures of unoriginal flowers and sunshine. October 26th. He bit his lip, it was almost Halloween.
