My eyes opened, a tiny bit of brightness lighting up the room from where I've awaken. I let my eyes drift side to side, admiring the room at which I knew was so very familiar. The window was cracked, the moonlight slightly causing my eyes to squint.

I don't remember it being that late when I had fallen asleep, but I guess I had just been sleeping for so long. I smiled as the cool air creeped into the room, goosebumps being planted up and about my arms. It made small shivers slide down my spine, a wide smile forming on my cheeks.

I can't formally explain the nature at which I am feeling right now, I felt as if I was on a honeymoon. It feels like Anthony and I had been making love on a faraway island, the night sky lighting the dark room at which rose petals had been scattered left and right. I could suddenly imagine the cool, damp air cooling our sweaty bodies. Who knew the ceiling could hold so many different imaginative prompts?

I inhaled, the cool air tingling my lungs and causing them to let the smooth air run right through them. I felt alive.

I soon felt the idea to admire my surroundings, my eyes gazed to each corner of the room. I could finally make out where I had been completely, of course it was Anthony's room. But.. no Anthony. I looked towards the door, it was closed.

I looked towards the nightstand, a small post-it note taped to the arm of the lamp. I smiled to myself, gently gripping it and picking it up, beautiful handwriting causing a smile to warm up my face.

Good evening, love
I went out to buy some delicious dinner for you and I. I hope you slept well, I'll be home soon. I love you, my beautiful baby. Text me after you read this! -Anthony :)

I couldn't help but hug the note in warm emotions, I could only feel his lips against mine and his hands holding my own. I wanted him with me, to hold me and to kiss me. I had almost forgot to text him.

I grabbed my phone that was sitting neatly beside the note, only its half percentage of battery life. I had but one thing to tell him, so I did.

I got your note, I'm awake and I love you more! ❤️

I was becoming a bit cheesy when I pressed send, a small giggle exiting my lips. The thoughts of him doing other things than just getting food was filling my head. What if he was planning something bigger, something more than what I'm expecting? I mean- who wouldn't be concerned to when your lover tells you they're just going out to get some dinner?

I slowly got off of the bed, the soft carpet sliding in between my toes. I suddenly winced as pins and needles tickled my feet, I always was shocked once they appeared. I wobbled to the window and gazed outside to look around the large mass of the neighborhood.

I suddenly heard a small ringing noise erecting from the phone on the nightstand. I smiled and ran over, picking it up and answering it without looking at the Caller I.D.

I gently placed it to my ear, staring at the wall in joyful awe. "Anthony?" I ask softly, grinning widely. But it wasn't Anthony, yes indeed a familiar voice answered, but my god it wasn't Anthony.

"Ian Hecox?" The voice asked, my cheeks slowly heating up.

"U..Uh.." I stuttered, blinking confusedly. "Yes..?" I added, trailing off, not understanding who it was completely.

No voice followed, only the ending ringer of the call. It sounded like a males voice, it did sound familiar, but I know that Anthony's voice was much deeper than the one I had just heard.
