I lower my head after hearing some meaningless babbling while entering school ground. After all, I'm far from being the perfect girl. I'm not skinny, and I most certainly don't have a barbie face.
Ugh, why do college people have to be so judgy and mean?
I bump into someone while thinking about my flaws, which makes me squeal very unattractively.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, cute boy."
I then proceed to die internally. What is with me and saying embarassing things in front of everyone? PUT YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME, JADE.
"Please, don't go that way."
"Excuse me, what?" I raise an eyebrow and the asian boy smiles.
"I'm blind, not stupid. I don't go with that chit chat."
"Well, I'm Jade and I wasn't chitchatting."
I put a hand on my waist and notice that the boy was holding a cane by his side. I don't think I'd be capable of being blind and in a school where people are so shitty. He laughs. It's in moments like this I really hope people can't read my mind.
"Well, see you around, Jade."
He steps aside and I watch him leave with no reaction.
I also watch people step aside so he can go through, but not because they're nice. Because they're ugly minded.
I trip on my feet while trying to find the way out, getting some more nasty laughs as a present I didn't ask for.
I hate my life.
