Who knew?

Chapter 14

I get up and and Tony is in my door way. He smiles and has something behind his back and inches closer to my bed.

"Happy birthday Baby!" He exclaimed as I sat up and smiled. I turn 26 today and he sits beside me giving me a kiss.

" Thanks, what's behind your back babe?" I asked him as he pulled out a small box and handed it to me. I smile and he gets up and heads to the door.

"Open it" he said as I look at him and I open it to see a silver heart shaped locket inside of the box. I smile and trace my finger around the edges.

"Thank you!" I exclaimed as he came back over and hugged me. He kissed my head and went to the door.

"Now get dressed, we have a movie to see and then lunch, then after lunch a surprise, then later tonight an even bigger surprise." He said as I pull my hair back into a messy bun.

"Alright baby, give me about 30 to 50 minutes alright?" I asked as he nods and walks out the room shutting the door. I look on my phone for any apartment updates. I dig through a box for a bracelet to put on. I change into a white tee with a black blazer and a black tutu mini skirt. completing the look with black knee high socks and a black combat boot. I brush my hair and pull it into a French braid going down my back. I get to my make up after brushing my teeth then head down to the living room. Tony is waiting for me and I smile a bit as he out on my necklace, since I couldn't do it my self. we head out the door and to the movie theater. we get there and Tony buys the tickets to go see' inside out' I smile and squeal with joy because I have been wanting to see this movie.

"OMG Tony thank you soo freakin much" I said almost too excited to notice what I said. we enter the movie and it starts.

---------After the movie---------

"Best movie ever!" I said as we got into the gray convertible to go to lunch. we go to a place called Chipotle. we order our food then eat it. we go back to the car and start driving to some place.

" Close your eyes and don't open them until I tell you too" Tony told me as I did so. I close my eyes and Tony eventually tells me to open them when we arrive at a place. When I open my eyes we are at a pet store. I smile and enter.

"Go get you a kitten" he said as we looked at the kittens. I picked out a black one with white paws. it was a girl so Tony bought her and all the things she needed, along with a few toys.

"What's her name?" Tony asked as I held her. I looked at her and smiled deviously.

"I'm naming her Joy" I said as Tony laughed at me. we head home for a few hours and watch a movie before getting ready to go to dinner. it's like an hour away though so if we leave after the movie we are fine.

"So how was your birthday so far?" Tony asked as I giggled while picking at my pasta.

" It has been perfect!" I exclaimed as Tony smiled before opening his mouth again.

" Jasmine, will you move in with me? I already know you live with me, but move in with me" he said as I looked astonished.

" That's a big step are you sure you want me, your girlfriend to live with you and roam around the house while you're working?" I asked as he sighed and grabbed my hand.

" Yes I'm sure I want that, I love you so much" he said as I smiled and finally decided my answer.

" Yes I'll move in with you" I said finally as he smiled and kissed me. we finish dinner and are working on a piece of cake and some ice cream. He finishes and gets up from his chair.

" What are you doing Tony?" I asked as he gets on one knee with a ring box in his hand. Is he proposing? I thought as he opened the box a little bit.

" Jasmine, do you promise to always love me and never ever leave me? Even if I make a stupid decision, even if one of us decides to get cold feet before we marry? Through sickness and health?" He asked as a tear fell down my cheek. I nod my head yes rapidly and open my mouth.

" Yes Tony, I promise, I love you so much" I said a he put the promise ring in my finger then kissed me.

"You are the best jazzy" he said as I smiled and then thought of something.

" Do you really think we will get married someday?" I asked as he nodded and we paid. I got into the car and heard the song 'she's kinda hot' by 5 seconds of summer on the radio. Tony sings as I feel my self dozing off. By the time we were home I was out cold. Tony carried me to a room and laid me down then went to bed himself.

I had an amazing birthday.
