Chapter 39

JASMINES POV

Tony and I are sitting on the couch cuddling and talking about baby names some more.

"Ooh I feel kicking," gasp. I take Tony's hand and place near the source of the kicking just as I feel another one.

"I felt it," he says actually sounding excited. After a few moments of happy silence he says, "Darcy".

"What," I ask confused from his out of nowhere comment.

"Her name, I want Darcy to be her name," he clarifies smiling which causes a smile to creep up on my lips.

"I love it, its perfect," I say and lean over to kiss Tony. The kiss ends as I wince in pain. "Ouch," I call out.

"What's wrong?" Tony starts to worry.

"Nothing it was probably just a hard kick," I say calming him down.

"Okay," he agrees and we sit there talking about how excited we are.

Then, I feel a sharp pain and and then I feel wetness in my underwear and I realize what's happening.

"My water just broke," I tell Tony trying to keep calm for his sake.

"Oh my god," he yells pulling his hair and jumping up and running upstairs to get the emergency bag and car seat and throws those in the car while I stay calm. I slide on my bootie slippers with the fuzzy inside.

As Tony is running back forth trying to get ready I hear him say, "You know what I'll just fly you there with the suit".

"That's not going to happen Tony," I say walking to car making groaning sounds at every contraction. I slide in the passenger seat and Tony follows panicking behind me with a water bottle.

He drives twenty miles over the speed limits and I'm shocked we arrive at the hospital safely.

Three-ish hours later
*****

I'm in the hospital bed laying down with one hand on my stomach and the other squeezing Tony's hand. I control my breathing as much as I can while my contractions become closer and closer.

Allison bursts into the room just as this contraction ends. "Jasmine!," she cries out. She carries in balloons that read, 'congratulations'. I smile at her thinking of me.

"Where's Peter and the littles ones," I ask mostly to distract myself from the pain.

"In the waiting room," she tells me. She sets down a gift bag and comes and takes my hand, in a friend kind of way. "Jasmine, you're gonna be just fine, don't worry yourself for a minute," she pep talks me. "If I did this twice then you can do," she smiles I know what she is about to say.

With tears, the happy kind, rolling down my face I half shout, "just do it". Allison smiles and even she has tears in her eyes.

I feel a sharp pain in my abdomen and I yelp so loud it alerts a nearby doctor and they rush in. He walks to where my feet are asks politely, "may I have a check?".

He looks at my lady parts and whispers, "she's ready". He runs out and calls in nurses and then he rushes Allison out.

But before she is out all the way she screams, "don't poop on the man delivering your first child, its really embarrassing".

I laugh as she is shoved out but then I feel another pain and hear someone say, "push" so I grab Tony's hand and squeeze it while pushing.

After the baby is born

A nurse on the other half of the room is cleaning my precious new baby and weighing her. I turn to Tony and give him a kiss. The nurse put a wristband on my baby girl and the wraps her in a blanket and walks over to me.

She places her in my arms and I cradle her softly. In a whisper, just to my little Darcy, I tell her, "Darcy, welcome to our crazy world and our crazy family. We've been through a lot. It all started with a visit to my friend, Allison your aunt, and meeting your father for the first time. It was instant love and we danced in the street but it ended when I had to go back home. I guess the universe had another plan when it crashed my plane and sent me back to live with my future husband. We fell deep in love and got engaged. I'll spare you the details but after some trouble we figured it out and now we have you after months of waiting with open,loving arms for you to come. Who knew? Who knew we'd get this far, from dancing in the street to starting a family together. Who knew? But I'm glad you came and Darcy, you are my sunshine. I love you," I finish with a kiss to her forehead and I look over to Tony who must've heard because tears are dripping down his face. I reach my lips up and kiss him. I'm glad that my life has included this moment where I'm so happy.

Author note- okay so I've stopped doing these but this chapter needs one. I'm crying writing this but I want to explain some stuff to you guys. Well first of all if you don't know, there are bow two coauthors to this book. Yup me, @Madison053001 and @HoneyLemon16 the owner of the account this story is on. I normally write Allison chapter and Taylor aka honey lemon normally writes Jasmine but I had the perfect idea for this chapter so I did write it. Also I'm sorry if its short because I was gonna add the family and friends meeting Darcy but I wanted to leave it at that perfect moment so I hope you've enjoyed.
