Chapter 29

"Gwen" I heard someone whispering my name and shaking me slightly. I groaned and tried to ignore it. "Gwen, wake up" the voice kept calling me. I opened one eye vaguely, just to see that it was Alec.

"What?" I groaned and closed my eyes again.

"Why don't you go to your bed?" he asked.

"Because I don't want to!" I snapped raising my voice and opening my eyes abruptly. I don't know what was that about, why was I in a bad mood? "Sorry" I apologized and then rubbed my forehead. "I don't know what was that. . .I guess I'm just very tired"

"Hey, umm. . .Dani told me what happened today" he said and hugged me. "Are you okay?"

"I really want to say yes" I said while pulling away from him. "But I'm not okay. . .Everyone knows, Alec. Everyone laughed at me, I just. . .I was alone and Dani tried to defend me, but shouldn't have. I should've been able to speak out, but I couldn't"

"Gwen, is alright. . .I'll tell mom and dad not to send you to school tomorrow, okay?" he said and kissed my cheek. I nodded and muttered a 'thank you'. I sat back down at the couch and put a strand of hair behind my ear.

"If you need me, I'll be upstairs, okay? I have some homework to do" he said. I nodded and smiled. I let go a heavy sigh and lied back, staring at the ceiling, just thinking. . .About what? About everything. Nash, school, my family, this baby. . .Everything.

Nash's P.O.V

"God, I can't believe what an asshole her brother is" Hayes grumbled while grabbing a glass from one of the cabinets. I nodded in agreement, and placed my phone in the coffee table. My mind went back to Gwen, I need to know how she's doing or what does she needs? I would give anything to hug her again. . .

"Are you thinking about her?" Hayes asked while sitting in one of the bar stools.

"Yeah. . .I wanted to know how is she" I said and scratched the back of my head. "They don't allow me to see her, and I understand but. . .I'm worried for her"

"Dude, things we'll get better" he said and patted my back. "Believe me. . ." 

I didn't speak, just nodded in response. It was taking me a hard time believing that anything will be alright. But I had to be positive. I stood up from the couch and then went to play with my sister. She was on top of my bed and then stared at me with her tiny green eyes.

"Hey princess" I said.

"Hi Nashy!" she giggled, always happy. . .Just the way I like to see her. I taught her how to play some video games and then we did some Vines. After a few hours later she stayed asleep on my bed. It was so cute to watch her, she looks like such an angle. . .Scratch that, she is an angel.
