Our plane got into Chicago at five in the morning. We slept until eleven before we went to enjoy the city.
Our biggest concert in the states so far would be held there, the next day. Which made nerves kick in for me.
Liam rubbed my shoulders as I sat on his lap, "You'll be fine."
I rolled my head back, my eyes closed, "I know. Just a lot to think about."
He held me back into his chest, his arms stationed around my shoulders.
I somehow found the will power to drift into a light sleep. The sleep in which I knew what was happening, but I wasn't alert. That is, until Liam's hands ran through my hair and woke me up.
I smiled, "I should get ready."
He allowed me up and I went to my room. We each had our own room in this hotel since we would be staying longer.
Here's how the math of vacation works: We left on the twenty-sixth of December. There is six days after Christmas, and that was all we had. Therefor, one day in Florida, two days in Chicago and two days in Hawaii!
Everyone else was still asleep in their own rooms, solidly might I add.
I pinned my hair into a messy bun, glossing my pout with a pinkish nude lip stick. I chose a Fitch crop-top and roll up jeans, though my studded combat boots made them look like normal skinny jeans. My nails remained painted a pearl pink, ray-bans went over my head and I slipped my arms into a black pea coat.
I met the rest of them, fully clothed and awake. I must have taken longer than I thought.
Liam and I seemed to keep our distance for most of the walk there, but neither of us noticed.
"We should go to the Navy Pier." Cameron suggested.
I nodded, "Like heaven on earth."
"If it's not negative one-thousand degrees." Cameron giggled.
Zayn scoffed, "You mean like today?"
I laughed, "Amen!"
When we got to the long strip ahead of the water, I smirked when I saw the rails the divided the water from the humans.
I grabbed the bar and threw myself over it, my body making a straight line in the air.
Louis screeched, "Isn't your head supposed to be over your feet?"
Niall chuckled, "Not when you're Jazzmyn Tomas!"
I slowly flipped to my feet and pulled my coat down.
"How are you doing this?" Harry gestured to my perfect balance on the thin bar.
I shrugged, "Dunno."
I walked further, gaining awed looks, I began mumbling something and walking faster.
"Singing Radiohead at the top of our lungs
With the boom box blaring as we're falling in love
I got a bottle of whatever, but it's getting us drunk
Singing here's to never growing up"
Liam smirked, whispering something to Niall. Niall seemed to agree.
I winked at him and went back to holding myself upside down.
A few adults walked by, whispering to their kids about my bad example, but I just chuckled.
The bar went pretty high, I flipped down so I was hanging from it like a possum, "Say, won't you say forever stay
If you stay forever hey
