Angie:
I woke up about an hour later. I felt a little nauseous, but that was a normal thing for me at this point. Mac was sprawled out on the bed, his head on my chest with his feet dangling off. One of his hands was between my legs, while the other was under my head. Sometimes, he was the best cuddler, other times, I got this.
I cleared my throat a little, and it woke Mac up. He glanced at the position he was in, and smirked. "What a view." He mumbled, gazing up at me. I smiled a little.
"How the hell did you end up like that?" I mumbled. He shrugged.
"Got lucky." He murmured, sitting up. He gave my lips a small, sweet kiss. I loved it when Mac and I fucked, but I loved these cute moments afterwards.
Then I heard the TV downstairs, signaling that Maria was up and about. "Mac, we gotta get dressed." I mumbled past his lips. Mac heard the TV too, and sat up. He was shirtless, to my surprise. It took an argument to get it off him last time. I sat up, and swung my legs off the bed. Mac was already pulling his underwear on.
"Hey hon. I was thinking; we should tell Maria about the baby." Mac stated.
"What're we gonna tell her?" I asked, pulling my own panties on.
"How about, 'Maria, Mommy and Daddy are gonna have another baby.' Or, 'Maria, hon, you're getting a little brother or sister.'" He suggested.
"I suppose." I mumbled. I was honestly kinda nervous about telling Maria. She's been an only child for her whole life... Will she share her life with another child?
Mac noticed my unease, and once his pants were buckled, he wrapped me in his arms. "It'll be fine. Even if she doesn't want the baby, she'll get it anyway. She can't always get what she wants."
"I know. I know." I said. Then we broke apart. Mac gave me another small kiss. Then we got dressed, thinking of how we'd tell Maria about her baby sibling.
...
"Maria, honey, we need to tell you something." Mac stated. We were sitting in the living room, Maria sitting between Mac and I. She was looking slightly confused.
"Am I in trouble?" She asked quietly.
"No. No you're not. But we do have some good news." He said, glancing at me.
I took a deep breath, and smiled slightly. "Maria, you're gonna be a big sister."
Maria's look of confusion turned to a look of joy and thrill. "Really? When's it coming?" She asked, bouncing a little. I let out a small sigh of relief.
"Not for a while, hon." I murmured gently, smiling and rubbing her small shoulder.
"Where is it? Is it a boy? I wanna a little brother! Am I gonna get twins?" Questions started flowing out of Maria, and I glanced at Mac. He was smiling too, clearly relieved that she was excited, and not resenting it.
"We don't know if it's a boy or girl yet. And there's only one." Mac murmured.
"Where is it?" She asked, glancing around in confusion.
"It's in my belly." I answered, rubbing my stomach. She stared at it.
"How'd it get in there?" Oh shit.
"Well, um..." I trailed off. I really didn't know how to tell her this. Was she even ready for "The Talk"?
Thankfully, it never came to that. A knocking on the door changed our attentions to it. Mac got up, and opened the door. Sean, Tammy, and Dylan were standing there.
"Hey Sean." Mac greeted him.
"Sup man? What's going on here?" He asked.
Mac glanced back at me, as if asking for permission to tell Sean. I nodded slightly, giving a small smile. "Well, turns out, Maria's getting a little brother or sister." Mac said.
Sean's eyes widened, and a broad grin crept up on his face. "Will you ever think with your head? I mean the one on your shoulders."
"C'mon, we both wanted this." Mac stated, gently shoving his shoulder. Tammy's eyes widened at me, and she smiled broadly.
"Oh my gosh! That's great guys!" She exclaimed, hustling inside and giving me a huge hug. Dylan went to Maria, holding some action figures.
"Thanks! So why're you guys here?" I asked. Tammy pulled away, her face beaming.
"Well, Sean and I have done some thinking and talking, and we've decided that we're going to get married!" She exclaimed. My eyes widened in shock, and Mac glanced at Sean, who had the same expression as Tammy. Mac clapped his friend on the shoulder, smiling.
"Congrats man! Now, which head are you gonna think with?" Mac asked, causing Sean to shove him. Mac chuckled.
"Shut up. There's kids in here." He stated, shoving Mac back. I had no idea what it is with boys and shoving each other.
Everyone started chuckling, except the kids. Maria and Dylan had ran into her room to play. I smiled at Mac. At the time, I had no idea how things could get better. Well, there was the wedding. Finally, things would be fine. Getting married at the end of July, which seemed so close. We had it all planned out, and everything was going smoothly.
Unfortunately, you can't plan for everything.
