(OMG! This is it. The last official chapter of this book. 😱😭 Enjoy! There will be one more chapter after this one.)
I stared at myself in the mirror. My dress was absolutely gorgeous, and since I was only about a month pregnant, the baby wasn't showing. It had diamonds encrusted around my chest, and down to about my waist it fanned out hugely around me. The fluffy part had several snowflakes glittering on the dress. It made me feel like royalty just by wearing it. My golden hair was tied into a curly bun, a couple strands intentionally left out. A crown sat on top of my head with a veil attached to it. The veil was like the fluffed out part of my dress. The shoes were white , three inch high heels with glitter on the toes. My makeup was already done, with some mascara and eyeliner on. Some light blush covered my cheeks, and my lips were bright red. I smiled at my reflection. I had mixed feelings about today. Mac and I had been planning this day forever now, and now that it was here, I was scared something was going to go wrong. My mother kept telling me not to worry, and that everything would be fine. I let out a happy sigh. This is it. The day Mac and I spend the rest of our lives together. I smiled, just as the door opened.
"Angie? You in here?" My mother called.
"Yeah." I said, smoothing out a ruffle in the dress.
My mother, Melissa, Tammy, and Mac's half sister Regina, entered the room, smiling hugely at me. They were dressed in light blue dresses, the bridesmaid colors. Regina wasn't smiling, though. She actually looked extremely nervous. The only reason she was here was because she was Mac's family. She wasn't the maid of honor, that was Melissa. I chose the bridesmaids, while Mac told me the groomsmen. Jackson, his father, Sean, and Dylan was the ring bearer. Maria was the flower girl, and she was thrilled about her important role. I couldn't wait to see her prancing down the aisle, tossing rose petals on the ground. Or possibly at people.
"You look beautiful, honey!" My mother exclaimed. There were tears welling up in her eyes, and she covered her mouth.
"Mom, don't cry. You'll make me cry, and we'll all be a mess!" I cried, tears welling up in my own eyes.
"Ok ok, settle down everyone." Melissa said, walking forward and wrapping me in a huge. "I'm so fucking jealous of you right now. Jacob can't even think about rings without getting sick." I laughed, and squeezed her tightly.
"He'll get there one day." I stated, blinking away tears.
Melissa chuckled, and let go. "It'd better be soon then." All the girls, except Regina, laughed.
"You look really pretty, Angie." Regina whispered, avoiding eye contact.
"Thanks Reggie." I said, smiling. "You guys do too."
"Not as good as you." Tammy stated.
"I bet Mac can't wait to see you." My mom said. I smiled. Up to this day, Mac just would not shut up about my dress. I refused to show it to him, and he's been excited to see me walking down the aisle. We were in a church, with quite a few friends and family. Well, mostly my friends and family. Mac didn't want any of his friends and barely any of his family here. Sean, his dad, his half brother Devon, and Regina were the only exceptions.
"I can't wait to see Sean in a tuxedo." Tammy said dreamily. I chuckled.
"Yeah. Me either. Mac is gonna look so handsome." I said, smiling. Just after I said that, the door to the dressing room opened again, revealing my dad. He smiled brightly at me, and walked forward.
"God I can't believe it. The day where I hand my baby girl off to another man." He murmured, pulling me in for a hug.
"I'll always be your daughter." I mumbled, tears seriously threatening to spill over my eyelids. "Now, everyone, stop making me emotional. You're gonna make me ruin my makeup." I ordered, pulling away from my father.
