Chapter 7 Arlize POV

"How the hell are you so calm on the fact that your brother's alpha of a pack that your sworn enemies to!?" I look at him filled with rage from the other side of the bed, his face is calm. He lays across the bed with his hands behind his head smiling at me, "it's not a big problem, as long as I'm around there's nothing to worry about" I sit on top of his chest smiling at him, "what?" I lean down to his face, "you don't hear that?"; His wolf ears pop up, "I don't hear anything" I grab his ears pulling them softly and lean down to them, "YOUR NEVER HERE!!" I yell in his ears with a reaction of him pushing me off and covering his ears, "What the Hell, Are you trying to make me deaf!?" he glares at me and I roll my eyes, "whatever" I pull my shirt off and toss my shorts to the floor and wrap myself in the covers rolling over. Alpha leans over me and lays his head on my arm, "So umm...do you-" "NO!" I push him off pulling the cover over my head closing my eyes. I hear him grunt plopping down on the bed. We lay there in the dark in silence only with the sound of owls, crickets, and wolves in the distant. After about a few minutes later I feel the bed move hearing Aurlk get up and walk into the living room, I lay in bed waiting for him to go out the front door but hear nothing. I get up slowly from the bed and crawl to the door and peek out, all I see is Aurlk sitting in the middle of the room. But looking at him is giving me a bad feeling, I look a bit closer and his wolf is a dark midnight color which isn't his normal color. I open the door standing up slowly, "Aurlk... you ok?" he turns around and looks at me with his dark yellow eyes glowing brightly, he looks at me for a minute then quickly turns back towards the front door with his ears alert. "Aurlk..." he starts to low growl and looks at me from the corner of his eye, I back away into the bedroom closing the door but lay my ear against the door. Silence...before I know it...Bang! I fall to the floor from the door's speed opening up, and then push myself up to face Aurlk in human form. I don't say anything to him I start to grab hold of him intill he grabs hold of my arm tightly pulling me up to my feet. He looks at me with a hard look, I step back from him concerned, and he pushes me down on to the bed his hair falls into his face leaving me unaware of his emotion and speechless. "Go back to bed, don't come out no matter what you hear" his voice is deep and is unlike his, I nod my head and he leaves slamming the door and locking it from his side. I cover my self with the blanket and lay on his side of the bed facing the door; I put two and two together and realize that was his mega, the first...and hopefully my last.
