"HÄTI!"

"WHAT WOMEN! YOU SEE ME ABOUT TO¾"

"WELL stop f-ing screaming!"

"Christie you don't understand, if you won't put some discipline into that child I'm sure is hell going to do it!"

"damn Dad calm down, you're not going to be late to your stupid wolf meeting shit"

I glare at my older daughter who causality walks by taking her good all time;

"First of young lady, you don't use that language in MY house, second you don't fucking disrespect the wolf tribe, and third If you keep mossing around like that I'm going to-"

"DAD!"

I spin around to my eldest child my son Isiah standing in the front door holding on to youngest child, my daughter Arlize; "What is it?"

"Can I talk to you for a minute out here..."

"About?"

"Umm meeting the wolf pack"

I groan; "Isiah for the last time you-"

"Häti.." Christie grabs hold of my shoulder; "Go talk to him, I'll get Jacquelyn ready to go" she kisses my check before heading off down the hall towards her. I follow my son out the door with Arlize in his arms, he sits her In the car and I lean against the car; "Isiah I told you already you have nothing to worry about" "how did you-" "I'm your father...What are you scared of..Sköll? you have meet him before" "Yeah I know, but..." He crosses his arms and looks away from me; "Dad..." "hmm" "what if I'm not THE mega?" I groan and get up from leaning on the car. I walk over to him and grab by his shoulder and look at him with a calm look; "Son..." he looks at me with a worried look; "yeah?"...I slap him in the back of his head; "Stop amusing Shit!" He grabs the back of his head wincing in pain; "OW Dad what the hell?" "Watch your mouth, you are my oldest and only son what makes you think you're not going to be an mega?" "I don't know things happen...what if Ms. Sarina doesn't¾" "Isiah!..." I grab the keys off of him; "Shut the hell up and grab Arlize, were running to Stillwater Rivers, your sister is taken to damn long" I rush inside and toss the car keys on to the coffee table in the living room; "Christie were running!" "Wait I'm fixing my hair" I growl under my breath; "Keys are on the coffee table in the living room!" I yell back and rush back outside before she can yell back. I come back outside to Isiah, already in wolf form, holding Arlize in his month by her neck. I nod toward him a single to start heading off, I follow behind him taking off in a full sprint jumping over a deep canyon landing on all fours in full wolf form. I run ahead of my son with him running behind just at my heel....We get to Stillwater Rivers where the rest of the Nightshade wolves have already gather round waiting for the ceremony to start. Me, Isiah, and Arlize walking in and near by wolves show their respect to us, moving closer into the crowd of wolves I spot Sköll in the crowd, I stop Isiah and motion for him to come close; "How about you and Arlize head over to the ring to practice up on your skills..I got to talk to someone" He looks over and notices Sköll and nods his head carrying Arlize now on his back. I walk over to Sköll and a few other fellow men who are in human form, I follow through with standing up on to my two hind legs and then transforming into human. Sköll notices me first and pushes aside his follow pack members greeting me; "Häti my young brother..didn't think you make it" He slaps me on my back with his deep laugh and a smile; "well it is my son's transformation evaluation, who's been getting on my last damn nerves about how it plans to go". The rest of the men who he was with comes over joining in on the conversion about the evaluation, until Sköll halts the talk about our Alpha and halts the conversion. He looks throughout the crowd of people and stops, I follow his graze to notices the ring of pups wrestling over one another. Were all quite for a moment until Sköll speaks;

"So how's the whole transforming thing going with your youngest?" he asks me;

"Well it's going nowhere as in now, but at 3 to 6 months is where the actually formation had shown and now it's just like gone well besides for the wolf ears and tail that is..." I reply while learning against the tree;

"So how did Christie handle that?",

"Oh DOG! There's too many times I can count waking up to Christie screaming on how Arlize got eaten by wolf, early that next damn morning"

"HA! That's what happens when you marry a pure-human mortal other then one of your kind..."

I roll my eyes crossing my arms;

"I'm sorry that all the upcoming alpha females are like clueless and lost in their own little world and do whatever you say without an argument or protest".

Sköll looks at me for a sec then bursts out laughing along with 4 of the men from the pack; "That's what I'm talking about man!" I laugh along with them and look over towards my youngest daughter Arlize at age 4 trying to keep up with the rest of the pups chasing rabbits around from the different holes that lead underground. For her being in just human form she's pretty quick on her feet...It makes me worry on how she is going to start elementary school.... ~Long howl~ My thoughts are interpreted when I hear the call for the ceremony to begin, I look over at Sköll who gives me a smile; "I'll see you up my brother" I nod my head and he transforms into a wolf leading the way with the rest of the men to the top of the mountain; "Dad!" I spin around to my son holding Arlize in his arms; "Is it time?" I nod my head; "ready?" he lets out a sigh and puts Arlize on the ground, she comes over to me grabbing on to my leg tightly looking at her older brother; "I guess I'm ready" I smile at him connecting a firm hand to his back; "You're going to do fine" He frowns at me with disbelieve in his eyes; "you do great big brother!" his frowns fades when he looks down at Arlize, and lowers down to her level; "Thanks Lizzy" "Isiah.." he stands back up and me look up at Sköll now in his mega form; "It is time" Isiah nods his head forming into wolf heading up the mountain, he looks back on last time and I nod to him, he nods back and him and Sköll disappear into the darkness of the mountain craven. After a few minutes of silence, I take Arlize with me back to the ring to see what she's made of. With still the mindset of my son on how he is going to face our true Alpha and how he will be evaluation.
