The next raid that Alex was to lead was against a place that everyone knew Maximilian hated with a burning passion. Lunarville. Maximilian's father started a war with Lunarville right after seizing power hoping to expand his borders. The war ended with thousands dead, both nations damaged, and Maximilian's father in the ground. He died at the final battle of the war which he led. Maximilian had to agree to a truce but swore to burn Lunarville to the ground one day.

Alex had to meet with the man in charge of the 30 men sent from Maximilian himself. The man in charge of them was under a tent that he had pitched and was discussing plans with his two lieutenants. Alex walked up to him and the man turned around. Alex was shocked at the face. Velator. He looked at Alex and chuckled. "Well I'll be damned. Steadson wearing the uniform of an officer." Velator said. "Captain Vel..." "It's Major now." Velator cut Alex off. Alex sighed, still wanted to cut out Velator's throat from basic training. "Major... Velator. I never thought I'd see you again. Nevertheless commanding a group of Maximilian's personal soldiers." Velator let out a small chuckle and then looked at Alex in the eye. "And I never thought you'd be alive longer than a week." Alex stared at him for a moment a took a deep breath. They discussed the plan with each other.

"Steadson, you and your men will go and do a little recon before me and my men show up. We attack at 2100. No sooner no later. Same deal as the last raids. Kill the militia and anyone in the way, take supplies and slaves." Velator told everyone. Alex studied the map of the town. This was the biggest raid he's ever done. He took a deep breath and hoped that it would all go well the the other raids.

Alex and his men headed out and got to the town to do a little recon. Alex waited for Velator and his men. They never showed. The time came and Alex sighed. He looked at his men who were all ready to attack. The sighed and reluctantly gave the order to attack. They charged down towards the town and as they got to the edge of the town they saw torches getting lit in the streets. They rushed in and right as one soldier was going to throw a molotov, a militiaman rushed out of alley and slashed his horse. He was thrown forward, his horse landed on him and then the molotov landed on them both setting them both up in flames. Alex and his men kept trying to go but one at a time they got cut down. Alex ordered a retreat but as he was running with his men he was shot in the arm and fell off his horse. He was immediately surrounded by militiamen. He was kicked repeatedly until one man got on top of him, grabbed him by the collar pulling him up and repeatedly head butted him until he was out cold.
