The water under the backside of the Capital building was rough. It was raining hard with constant thunder and lightning. The High Ruler, Maximilian III, was killed by the hands of Alex Steadson.

The shore was being pounded by wave after wave of water. Suddenly, Alex popped up out of the water and crawled up onto the shore, dripping water, cold, and out of breath. He got up where he wouldn't be hit by waves anymore and rolled onto his back, letting rain come down on him as he laid there motionless. He looked to the sky and saw his father, mother and Jessica all together. Looking down on him. Happy. Alex smiled and a tear ran down his face. "They're all together..." He thought to himself. "I'll see you all soon..." He whispered.

Suddenly he was grabbed by three men and gagged so he couldn't make noise. They picked him up and threw him into a carriage that immediately took off in a hurry. Alex passed out almost as soon as he was thrown in. He woke up about an hour later and saw the three men sitting down across from him. He slowly opened his eyes and laughed as he let his head fall back. "What the hell... It took you long enough..." he said in a mocking tone.

One of the soldiers, wearing the uniform of Maximilian's army stood up and walked up to Alex. He smiled and removed his hood. "Sorry sir. We tried to get you out of there as fast as we could." The soldier said. Alex looked up and say Skall standing in front of him with two of his elite soldiers sitting across from him. "I knew you'd come through Connor..." Alex said and laughed a little, sore from the fall into the water. Skall sat down next to Alex. "We'll be in Lunarville soon brother. Just rest for now." Skall told Alex. Alex nodded and tried to sleep.

Alex and Skall arrived in Lunarville the next day. Alex's soldiers were all waiting for him, and escorted him to the large castle before them. They led him to a door and told him that only he was allowed to enter. Alex stood there for a moment, collected himself and slowly entered the room. He laughed slightly. "It's been too long..." he said as he stood there.

A woman was standing across the room looking out a window. She was wearing a pitch black dress with a dark grey corset, a crown and high heels. She had long strawberry blonde hair and was about 5'6" without her heels. She turned around and smiled. "Yes. It has been Alex..." she said slightly mocking him. They both walked to the middle of the room and hugged for a minute. "It's good to see you Mackenzie..." Alex whispered as he embraced his childhood friend, the Queen of Lunarville.

After a few moments, they let go of each other and Mackenzie smiled. "You've done Lunarville a great service killing Maximilian. For that I could never repay you. But it was be an honor to have you serve as the leader of my army Alex." She said. Without only a moments though and without hesitation, Alex accepted the offer. Mackenzie smiled and handed Alex a new sword. It had a black blade and was freshly cleaned and sharpened. Alex took the sword and sheathed it inside of his scabbard.

Mackenzie looked and Alex for a moment and nodded. "Now we can't have you going around as Alex anymore. If your clumsy ass gets captured like you did by my army again, we don't want people knowing who you are..." she said teasing Alex and laughing at him. Alex roles his eyes and laughed slightly. "Very funny..." he said trying to sound unamused. Mackenzie smirked "Quite..." she said chuckling a little. "From now on you shall be known as Alaster, man's defender. A true warrior." she said smirking at Alex. He nodded and then they hugged for a moment.

Mackenzie stepped back and examined Alex for a moment. She laughed slightly. "Go clean up, Alaster. You look like shit..." she said chuckling. Alex smirked and then turned around. He walked out of the room and was escorted to his, where he cleaned himself up and put on his new uniform, starting his new life...
