The episode begins with Shaurya gently placing a dupatta over Palki’s shoulders.
“I’m sorry,” he says softly, his eyes lowering as if afraid of her reaction.
Palki gives a small smile. “No problem.”
The song Aap hamari jaan ban gaye plays in the background, filling the silence between them.
---
Palki tries to tie the back lace of her dress but struggles with it. Shaurya notices.
“Wait, let me help you,” he offers.
She hesitates for a moment but then nods. Shaurya carefully ties the lace, his fingers brushing lightly against the fabric. Their eyes meet in the mirror, and the same song echoes again.
“Thank you,” Palki whispers.
Before Shaurya can respond, there’s a knock on the door.
“Kriti?” Palki says in surprise, hearing her voice.
---
Outside, Kriti calls, “Palki, are you inside?”
Inside, Shaurya quickly panics. “Don’t tell her I’m here. She’ll tease me endlessly.”
Palki nods and replies through the door, “Yes, Kriti. I’m here. I came with Viraj and Dada ji to select a bridal dress for you. I was just trying something for myself.”
Shaurya leans closer and whispers, “Please don’t tell anyone I’m inside. Promise?”
Palki looks at him with soft eyes. “I won’t.”
---
When Palki steps out, she notices Kriti wearing the dress she had chosen earlier.
“This is the one I selected for you,” Palki says, confused. “How did Madhu give it to you?”
Madhu interrupts, “Her husband asked me to give this dress to Kriti.”
Kriti smiles and thanks Viraj. “Thank you for asking Madhu to give me this dress. I’ll change now.”
But Palki stops her. “No, this is mine now. You can change somewhere else.” She hands Kriti her own clothes.
Kriti walks off to another changing room, frowning. Where is Shaurya? she wonders. Her phone is with him, so he must be inside with Palki.
---
Meanwhile, Shaurya inside whispers, “Thank you for saving me.”
Palki smiles faintly. “We should wait a little. Dada ji and Viraj are outside.”
Just then, Kriti’s phone rings. Shaurya picks it up. “This is Kriti’s phone. Her mother is calling. How is it with you?”
Palki replies quickly, “It’s good you found it. Now give it back.”
Shaurya peeks out and notices no one is around. He slips outside quietly.
Kriti steps out at the same time and spots him. “I was so angry thinking you were inside with Palki!” she says with irritation.
Palki walks out calmly. Shaurya returns Kriti’s phone. “Here, it’s yours.”
Just then, Viraj and Dada ji return. Kriti excuses herself to change again.
---
Dada ji says warmly, “We didn’t know you would come here to buy, otherwise we would have come with you.”
Viraj smiles. “The bridal dress is from our side.” He looks at Kriti. “Where’s your car?”
Before Kriti can answer, Shaurya interrupts. “She came with me.”
Dada ji nods. “Alright, then first we will drop Palki and then Kriti.”
But Shaurya immediately adds, “No need. Palki will go with me.”
Kriti frowns, disappointed.
When they leave the shop, Dada ji asks Kriti to sit in the front seat with Viraj. Kriti’s annoyance grows, but she keeps quiet.
---
At home, Preeta notices Karan sitting silently. “Sudeep isn’t at home. Would you like to have something?”
“Will you make it?” Karan teases.
Preeta smiles faintly. “The chef will.”
Karan shakes his head. “Nothing then. Thank you.” She leaves quietly.
Turning to Dadi, Karan sighs. “Preeta deserved a good husband. I was never a good husband or father.”
Dadi places her hand on his shoulder. “Don’t say that. Preeta could not have found a better husband than you.” She hugs him emotionally.
“Her behavior has been strange since Viraj’s engagement,” Dadi continues. “Talk to her, cheer her up. If you keep her happy, Shaurya will learn how to keep Palki happy too.”
Karan nods. “Your order is God’s order.” He hugs Dadi, lost in thought.
---
Meanwhile, Shaurya carries shopping bags to his car. He looks around and notices Palki still standing on the other side of the road.
He calls out, “Palki!” and quickly crosses over.
She looks at him curiously. “Did you forget something?”
“Yes,” he says with a small smile. “You.”
Her breath catches as he gently takes her hand. Together, they begin to cross the road.
---
Just then, a speeding biker almost hits Palki. Shaurya immediately pulls her close, wrapping his arm protectively around her.
“Are you mad?” he shouts at the biker, his anger flaring.
Palki’s heart races, but she feels safe in his arms.
At that moment, a group of transgenders arrive, blessing the couple. One of them smiles warmly.
“You two are made for each other,” the elder says. “Neither of you will let harm come to the other. This bond is not of one birth but many.”
Shaurya and Palki exchange a long, silent look. Something unspoken passes between them — a connection beyond words.
