The night was serene, but inside their room, a storm was brewing in Palki’s mind. The goon incident had left deep scars, and the nightmares were relentless. As the night progressed, Palki began to sweat profusely, her body trembling with fear. She murmured in her sleep, “Please leave me... please...”

Shaurya woke up to the sound of her distressed murmurs. He turned to find Palki soaked in sweat, her face contorted in fear. His heart clenched, feeling a wave of protectiveness wash over him.

“Palki, it’s okay. You’re safe,” he whispered, but she didn’t wake up. Her nightmare had a firm grip on her.

Without thinking, Shaurya gently picked her up and cradled her in his arms. He sat up, positioning her on top of him, her head resting on his chest. “Shh, it’s okay, bacha. I’m here,” he murmured softly, his voice filled with tenderness.

Palki’s murmurs continued, and she clung to him tightly in her sleep, seeking comfort. Shaurya began to rock her gently, his hand stroking her back in soothing circles. “Princess, you’re safe. I won’t let anything happen to you. Shh, my little baby, it’s okay.”

As he continued to comfort her, Shaurya felt a profound sense of responsibility and affection. Holding her close, he realized how precious Palki had become to him. He had never felt this way before, and it stirred something deep within him.

“You’re my precious princess, Palki,” he whispered, his voice barely audible. “I’ll protect you, always. Nothing will hurt you while I’m here.”

Palki’s breathing began to steady, her body relaxing against his. She nestled closer, her grip on him tightening as if he were her lifeline. Shaurya’s heart swelled with an unfamiliar but intense feeling. He had never been this vulnerable with anyone before, and it scared him and made him happy at the same time.

“Sleep, my little princess,” he continued, his voice soothing. “I’m here. I’ll always be here for you.”

He shifted slightly, making sure she was comfortable. His arms held her securely, his touch gentle and reassuring. “You’re my everything, Palki. I don’t know why I feel this way, but I do. You’ve become so important to me, and I can’t imagine my life without you.”

The night wore on, and Shaurya remained in his sitting position, holding Palki close. He couldn’t bear to let go, even for a moment. His mind raced with thoughts and emotions he had never experienced before.

“Why do I feel this way?” he wondered, looking down at her peaceful face. “Why do I care so much about her? What is this feeling?”

As the night deepened, Shaurya found himself whispering sweet, comforting words to Palki, his voice filled with love and tenderness. “You’re my little bacha, my princess. I’ll keep you safe, always. You’re so precious to me, Palki. I don’t know how or why, but you are.”

Palki continued to sleep, her nightmare slowly fading away under the warmth and protection of Shaurya’s embrace. She looked so serene and content, and it made Shaurya’s heart ache with a strange, wonderful emotion.

As the first light of dawn began to filter through the curtains, Shaurya finally allowed himself to relax. He leaned back against the headboard, still holding Palki close. He closed his eyes, feeling a sense of peace he hadn’t felt in a long time.

For the first time, he truly realized how much Palki meant to him. She was not just someone he had to protect; she was someone he cared about deeply, someone he wanted to cherish and love.

As they lay there, wrapped in each other’s warmth, Shaurya knew that his feelings for Palki were real and undeniable. He didn’t understand them fully yet, but he knew one thing for certain: Palki had become an irreplaceable part of his life, and he would do anything to keep her safe and happy.

“Good morning, my little princess,” he whispered as the sun rose, kissing her forehead gently. “I’ll always be here for you.”

Palki stirred slightly, her eyes fluttering open. She looked up at Shaurya, a sleepy smile spreading across her face. “Good morning,” she whispered, her voice still groggy from sleep.

Shaurya smiled back, his heart filled with affection. “Did you sleep well, princess?”

Palki nodded, snuggling closer. “Yes, I did. Thank you, Shaurya.”

As they held each other, the new day bringing light and warmth, they both knew that their bond had deepened in ways they hadn’t anticipated. Their love was no longer a pretense; it was real, and it was growing stronger with each passing day.
