Rachel's P.O.V.

After we had had a good squel at the fact that Zayn and Tricia were together, she headed off into the bathroom to have a shower.

I collapsed on the couch with my phone in hand.

It was getting pretty late now and Louis had yet to text me about meeting up.

"Waiting on something?" Skylar sat down next to me, smirking slightly.

I shook my head.

"Course not" I lied.

She rolled her eyes.

"Oh please, you've been watching that phone all day! Who exactly are you waiting to call?" she continued, obviously not believing me.

I sighed.

"Louis" I admitted.

Her eyes widened.

"Louis? Your brothers best friend Louis?" she asked.

I nodded.

"Yeah, we're meant to be hanging out but it's getting pretty late. I don't know, maybe he forgot about it or something" I shrugged trying to play it off like I didn't care.

Skylar obviously didn't believe me. I had a feeling she was going to push the issue but she didn't.

"And Harry's okay with you two hanging out alone?" she decided to ask instead.

I shrugged.

"He probably wouldn't be. What he doesn't know can't hurt him though, right?" I replied.

She raised an eyebrow.

"Besides it's not like a romantic thing or anything.. We're just hanging out as friends" I added.

Before she had a chance to say anything else, the beep of my phone distracted me.

I unlocked it quickly and saw that I had a new message.

"Its from Louis" I told Skylar as I opened it.

'Sorry it's late. Meet at the water fountain in 5?'

Skylar read the message over my shoulder.

"It's really late Rach. Maybe you shouldn't go" she mumbled.

I shrugged.

"Its not that late.. I won't stay out for long. Maybe just for like half an hour" I told her, giving her a hopeful smile.

She rolled her eyes.

"Okay, okay. But you better make sure to bring your key, cause if I'm in bed when you get back I'm not getting up to let you in" she told me, poking my arm playfully.

"See you later Sky" I flashed her a smile before heading towards the door.

"Have fun!" she called out after me.

Once outside the room, I headed straight for the fountain.

I practically ran there so it took me less than five minutes, yet when I arrived Louis was sitting there waiting.

"Hello.." I gave him a small wave as I walked closer.

He stood up, giving me a smile.

"Hey Rachel" he smiled as I got closer.

"Sorry it's so late" he added as I got a little closer.

I shrugged.

"It's okay. So what exactly did you have in mind?" I asked.
He gave me a grin.

"C'mon, you'll see" he told me, beginning to walk, quite fast.

I followed behind him, trying to keep up.

"Louis, where are we going?" I asked him but he just waved away my question.

We ended up walking in silence for at least ten minutes before he grabbed hold of my hand pulling me through wooden doors.

Once we were inside I noticed that it was a large theatre. There was probably a couple hundred seats and there was a large stage.

"C'mon, follow me" Louis mumbled, his voice soft.

He let go of my hand and I instantly missed the contact of his skin against mine.

I shook off the feeling, following up the middle of the theatre and around the side, up onto the stage.

Once on the stage, he slipped in behind the large red curtain and I followed him, confused.

"What are we-"

I cut off when he flicked the light on.

Right in front of us was a beautiful black grand piano.

"Wow" I whispered, walking closer to it, to run a hand along it.

He smiled slightly at my expression.

"Are you gonna play something for me?" I asked with a wide smile, remembering him saying he played.

He nodded.

"Theres a song I've been working on.. I wanted your opinion on it" he told me, sitting down on the small black stool next to the piano.

"Working on? As in you wrote it?" I asked, amazed.

"Composed" he corrected, causing me to roll my eyes.

"There's no words. Just music" he explained.

I smiled wider.

"Well go ahead Lou" I encouraged, leaning against the piano so I could see his hands.

He took a deep breath before his fingers began running along the keys, creating a melody I had never before heard.

My eyes widened slightly at how beautiful it was.

He didn't look up at all, yet I couldn't help but feel completely connected to him. To the song.

When eventually it came to an end, I couldn't stop myself from reaching over to run my
fingers along his hand.

"Louis that was absolutely beautiful.. What's it called?" I whispered.

He looked up to meet my eye, while entwining our fingers.

"Kiss The Rain. Its not completely finished yet. So you like it?" he asked back, his voice soft.
"No, I loved it" I told him honestly.

He seemed to realise how intense the moment was, because he pulled his hand away from mine, breaking eye contact.

"Check this out" he gave me a smile before he began playing.

We spent the next hour, just singing.

I wasn't exactly the best singer. I knew that, but it didn't bother me.

Louis however had an amazing voice.

We sang anything and everything. He could play almost any song I asked him too.

When eventually he dropped me off back to me room, I was feeing completely elated.

"Louis, I had an amazing night. That you for playing for me" I turned to him, leaning my back against the door.

"I enjoyed it. I should let you go get some sleep.. Goodnight" he pressed a quick kiss to my forehead.

He turned and left then, before I had a chance to think about what he had just done.

"Goodnight Louis" I whispered, heading into the room.
