Rachel's P.O.V.
The next two weeks were probably the hardest of my life. Louis tried calling me several times but I had completely ignored him. I really didn't want to talk to him. He had stopped off at the room a couple of times but Skylar had answered, telling him that I didn't want to talk to him.
Her, along with the other four boys had asked me why I was so upset. I just told them me and Louis had broken up. I didn't want to tell them why - it made it all too real. And I was still struggling with the fact that it had actually happened.
By the time the two weeks were over, I wasn't really feeling much better. My feelings for Louis were still so raw and although the others had been very supportive (especially Skylar and Ashton) I still felt somewhat alone. When the last day finally came, I was quite pleased. Just ready to go home for the summer.
I had already made plans to meet up with Skylar over summer - I wanted her to come stay a week at my place. We were also meeting up with the other four boys. One thing I was not looking forward to though was seeing Louis. He would undoubtedly be staying at the house because of the fact that he and Harry were best friends. Hopefully I would be able to keep myself busy for that week. Harry had no idea what had happened between me and Louis. The only people who even knew we were ever together was Skylar, Ashton, Michael, Calum and Luke. And they all promised not to say anything.
I assumed Louis wouldn't bother saying anything to Harry about us. There was no point now anyways.
It did feel weird though, clearing out the room.
Tricia had already unpacked and left. Even though me and Skylar had decided we would definitely be sharing a room again next year, it wouldn't be this room. And so I felt really weird once everything was gone.
My parents had come and picked up all of my stuff, along with Harry's and had left me here to spend the rest of the day.
And so, me and Skylar decided to spend our last few hours lying out on the grass, just chatting. Honestly, we had nothing better to do so we just chatted about summer plans and how weird it was going to be, being away from this place.
It wasn't until I felt someone kick my foot that I sat up quickly.
Standing at our feet were the four boys I had gotten to know so well. Ashton, Michael, Luke and Calum.
"Well hello" I smiled at them warmly.
"Hey Rach, we're about to take off so we figured we'd come say goodbye" Calum told me.
I raised an eyebrow.
"Your all leaving at the same time?" I asked sceptically.
Michael shrugged.
"Yeah, well Cal's mom is giving us a lift home" He replied.
I nodded, standing up along with Skylar.
"I'm gonna miss you weirdo's" she muttered, pulling Michael in for a hug.
I hugged them all too, Luke first, then Calum, then Michael and then finally Ashton.
As I hugged Ashton I sighed loudly.
"This is it" he mumbled into my hair.
I chuckled, pulling away from him slightly.
"No, this isn't it Ash. It's just summer" I laughed at him. He just nodded.
"Yeah but still.." he shrugged.
I rolled my eyes.
"We'll talk soon, yeah?" I asked.
"Yeah" he replied, pulling me in for another quick hug.
When we parted, the boys all said goodbye and then left. I felt really strange watching them walk away.
It wasn't long afterwards when Skylar had to leave. She gave me an unbelievably tight hug, promising we'd talk soon and she would see me as soon as possible.
Once she was gone I felt strangely alone. I wandered around the campus for a while - just looking at everything that I wouldn't be seeing for the next while.
After what felt like forever I ran into Harry.
He was alone, which was pretty strange. He gave me a goofy grin when he saw me, slinging an arm over my shoulder.
"So, you ready to leave?" he asked softly.
I nodded.
"Yeah.. I think so.."
