Chapter 15

Jess's POV

 We jumped through the portal and landed in camp Jupiter.Frank,Hazel,and Jason ran at me and suddenly I was in the best group hug ever."Hey guys!I've missed you so much!"I said.They stepped back."Oh,Jess,it's so great to see you!"Hazel said,giving me an extra hug."Come on guys,lets go walk around new Rome."Frank suggested.We stopped at Terminus.Jason,Frank and Hazel put their weapons on Julia's tray and walked in Nico put his Stygian iron sword down and since I didn't have any weapons,seeing as my claws appeared in battle,I walked past him."WAIT!!!!"He shouted.We all turned to him,"What?"I asked."You have not put any weapons on the tray."He said.I rolled my eyes."Well done Sherlock,you've solved the case!"I said sarcastically.You could practically see the steam coming out of his ears."You must put a weapon on the tray because all demigods carry weapons!"He said angrily."Well I dont."I said.He looked at me with surprise."You dont?"He said.I sighed."No,I dont,now please I am going to new Rome with my friends."I walked past him.As we walked down the street Frank turned to me and said."You dont carry a weapon?"I shrugged."My claws appear in battle,and I dont fancy being declawed thanks."I said.He shrugged.We walked past a bakery and my feline senses went into overdrive."Nico."I said.He looked at me."Yeah?"I pointed towards the bakery."Can we go in there?"He laughed."Sure."He said.I went strait into Neko form and ran into the bakery.The others followed behind me.I ran through the door and jumped on the counter.The baker jumped back."Whose cat is this?"He yelled angrily.Nico walked in the door."She's mine."He said.The baker backed away.He bowed."Son of Hades,hello,I am truly sorry,I did not expect that you of all people would have a -""Cat?"Nico said.The baker nodded."Well that's fine,this is  my cat,Jess."He picked me up and I jumped to the floor and went back to Human form.I held out my hand."Hello."I said smiling.He shook my hand."Nice to meet you lady Jess."He smiled,he was probably 18 or so.I told him what I wanted and Nico did the same.He handed me my Muffin and Nico's along with a paper.I put the paper in my pocket.I searched through my bag for a drachma when he said."On the house.He winked.I said thank you and left with Nico.As we were walking I looked at the paper.It had a phone number on it.I laughed.I showed it to Nico and his eyes got dark and he started to turn back towards the bakery when I pulled him into a kiss.We stood there while everyone watched.We pulled away gasping for breath.His pale cheeks flushed."Everyone was watching."He said.I grabbed his hand and went to meet Hazel,Frank and Jason."I know."I said.
