Chapter 7

Nico's POV

  A girl around my age slowly approached me and said "My name is Skyfire."My mind started racing.Is this the Sky I was looking for?I cleared my throat and offered my hand "Im Nico.Nice to meet you."She looked at my hand weird and bowed her head before rubbing her head around my waist.She stood up and said."Well?What are you waiting for?Lets welcome our guest."Then they like lined up to greet me.A sturdy looking dude was the first and went to go talk to Sky.He introduced himself as Jace.I looked at him and Sky before they locked lips.Some little girl stood up and shouted. "Look!Finally!" Everyone turned to look at Jace and Sky.They pulled apart blushing the color of Persephone's Pomegranates.Everyone finished greeting me and looked at Jess."Ok everyone,go back to your business."She said.Some people turned back into cats and left,some went to do something in human form.Jace left and Jess went to talk to Sky.I noticed that she was covered in scratches.Jess and Sky were talking when Jess went into human form and picked Sky up and held her.Then Sky turned into a human and hugged Jess.Jess said some thing and Sky brightened up turned back into a cat and started walking away.Jess turned to  me and said to follow so i did.Walking to what appeared to be a giant pile of dead animals.When we got there I saw cats back away from the pile so Sky and Jess could get through.Sky went up to a small pile  of rats and said something to Jess.Jess nodded and Sky picked the biggest rat and Jess picked out a pigeon.They walked back over to where I was and Jess dropped the pigeon at my feet then went to share the rat with Sky.I walked over to them and sat down next to them.I stared at the pigeon for a good five minutes before Jess turned and said"Do you need help?"I looked at her and said."What am I supposed to do with this?"She looked at me with under standing."If you do not eat it raw,then will you at least cook it?"She asked.I stared at it and sighed."Sure."I stood up and was about to leave when Jess said"Where are you going?""Im going to cook it."I said.Jess stood up and said"well then i'm coming with you,you've seen my home,now i will see yours."She said."Ok,but please go into cat form while were there,please?"I said.She looked confused,and said sure.She turned into cat form and leapt into my arms.With a heavy sigh,I stepped into the shadows.
