Chapter 16

Percy's POV

 I broke down the door to cabin 3.Jess jumped up and started talking "Percy!Another memory came!"She said.I stared at her."What?Another memory came to me to."Unfortunately,the memory's that Hera and Bast had returned did not come all at once,so occasionally,another memory just popped into my head,or Jess's.Jess looked at me and we ran at each other.She gave me a Tyson-worthy hug and I did the same.The memory was shocking.Jess and I were..........Twins.

Jess's POV

 Percy and I looked at each other and we were both thinking the same thing.How?"Percy,there is two people we need to talk to and I think you know who."I said.He nodded.I went outside and taxi whistled Blackjack.He flew down.Sup bosset.He said."Blackjack,I still dont see the logic behind that name."I said.Well neither you or boss ant me to call you lord,so since Boss is already Boss,you are Boss-et.He reasoned."Ok,sure."I said.I Percy hopped on Blackjack and I called my wings.Oh yeah, interesting fact,if your savior of Olympus and you do certain quests for the Olympians,they give you certain blessings in return. Since Percy wanted to relax after the war and I didn't have much to do I took most of the quests.From Aphrodite I got the ability to make anyone feel attraction to me.From Zeus I got a pair of angel wings.From Athena I got a pair of reading glasses that can get past my dyslexia,from Hermes I got a bar of infinite chocolate so it just regenerates each time you eat it.From Apollo and Artemis I got good archery skills.(At least some considering I was worse than Percy when it came to archery.)From Hades I got a copy of Dealudus' laptop ,and I had yet to receive quests from the other gods.I took off,Blackjack flying just behind me.As we neared New York,I saw what I was looking for,Percy's apartment.We landed on the fire escape next to Percy's window and crawled in.

Summoning my wings was hard so I went into my true form and Percy put me on his shoulder.We walked in and surprised Sally and Paul,as they were watching a movie.Sally jumped up off their couch."Percy,Jess!Why are you here?"She asked."When were you going to tell us that we were twins?"Percy asked and I went to human form and sat on the couch next to Paul."That would have been some good information to know."I said casually."Well,I was going to tell you but, because you had lost your memories and you hadn't got that one so I decided it would be a better idea to find out for yourselves."She said.I was confused."Why?"I asked."Well I know you have been through a lot lately,first getting your memories then going on all those quests,we thought you were trying to avoid things that were life changing so I didn't say anything."She replied.I walked up and hugged her."Well I hope you like cats,cause there's one moving in!"I said cheerfully.Sally looked surprised."Are you sure?If you dont mind,you can sleep in Percy's room I mean he has a bunk bed anyway.Are you ok with that?"She asked.I smiled."Of course!It's gonna be just like camp!"I said and ruffled Percy's hair.Percy pouted."Aww,now I cant even escape you here in the safety of my own house!"He said sadly."It's our house now,seaweed brain."I said."I guess copper claws."He said.I looked at him weirdly."What?"I asked him."Your claws are copper is the point of the insult."He said annoyed.I laughed."I f that's the best you can do,then this is just to easy."I said."How about fish face?"He asked.I nodded and faked deep thinking."That's better but you need to work on it."I said."Nope,I dont work your new name is Fish face!"He exclaimed.I lunged at him.We fell to the floor wrestling,and with my Neko senses I heard an oven timer go off."Percy,Jess!Cookies!"Sally shouted.I pinned Percy to the floor and speed to the kitchen,racing to the cookies,Percy on my tail.We arrived as Sally put the tray on the counter, her delicious blue cookies cooling.I grabbed one and shoved it into my mouth,the chocolate still gooey. Percy and I sighed.Delicious.I looked at my watch.I jumped up."Percy,we have to get to camp! Annabeth's gonna kill us and then Nico's gonna resurrect us and the cycle will start over again!"I cried.Percy and I ran to the window and jumped out as Percy grabbed my hands and I flew us to camp.

Percy's POV

 I grabbed Jess's hands and felt the wind rush by me face as Jess flew us to camp.On our way we talked about how to break the news to the other campers.I saw everyone at the camp fire.Jess dropped me down on the ground and we ran to the circle.We saw Annabeth and Nico sitting side by side and decided it was a better idea to talk to them in the morning.That did not happen.We turned and started walking back to our cabin when we heard a voice that scared me to my bones. "PERSEUS JACKSON AND JESSICA!WHERE WERE YOU ALL DAY?E LOOKED EVERYWHERE AND THOUGHT YOU WERE KIDNAPPED AGAIN!NOT A SINGLE IM?ARE YOU SERIOUS?"Annabeth's voice shook the ground and the entire campfire turned to look at us.I saw a couple campers handing each other drachma's ,placing bets on weather or not Jess and I survived the next couple minuets.Jess summoned her wings and tried to take flight when two skeletal hands grabbed her ankles.She turned and looked at Nico.He shrugged and pointed like'this is your death'at Annabeth as she stormed(not literally.)over to us.Annabeth stopped and judo flipped me.Annabeth started walking to Jess.She was trying to escape the hands as they held her to the ground."Wait,Annabeth,dont you want to hear our news?"She asked as Annabeth was about to flip her.Annabeth stopped,still looking angry."What news?"Annabeth asked.Jess turned into a cat and trotted over to me.She turned human and helped me up.We took a deep breath."We're-"I started."-Twins!"Jess finished.We did jazz hands.Everyone laughed.Annabeth stopped.She looked confused."What?"Annabeth asked.Jess took a deep dramatic breath."Did the Annabeth Chase just not understand something?"Jess looked feigning shock.Annabeth looked annoyed."No need to be over dramatic."Annabeth said as she rolled her eyes at us.Jess bowed."My dear Annabeth,there is always a reason to be over dramatic."She said with the same lopsided grin that I gave everyone.She walked over to Nico and they began having a conversation in Neko language. I went and sat down with Annabeth.We sang campfire songs and Jess even started dancing. After a couple of hours Chiron told us to go back to our cabins.Jess and I walked arm and arm back to cabin.I couldn't wait for the day Jess,my best friend,and now my sister would spend the school year as well as the summer with me.
