"What's up Cali, what you doing here?" Gunz asked once he opened the door for Cali.
It's been a few days since the encounter with Trill and Vanessa. Cali haven't spoken to Trill and he haven't been by the house so they didn't communicate at all.
"Hey, where Kay?" Cali asked stepping inside the house playing it off like she wasn't looking for Trill.
"Her and Aylin went to visit her mother." Gunz looked at Cali skeptically wondering her real reason for her being here.
As soon as she opened her mouth Gunz beat her to it and spoke.
"Trill in the den."
"Thanks." Cali spoke and made her way up the stairs into the den.
She opened the door and Trill sat there looking at the paused game on the TV. The room was smokey and his eyes were low.
"Hey Brandon." Cali said taking a seat on the opposite side of the couch.
"What's up." Trill just gave a head nod.
"You ready to finish getting this ass whooping." Gunz said picking up his controller and sitting on the opposite couch.
"I'm coming back, don't get too comfortable." Trill said with a grin.
Cali sat there while they played occupying herself with her phone. Every now and again she would look at Trill who never once looked her way.
"I told you I was coming back." Trill said with a laugh.
"Yea aight. I got you next game. I'm finna get something to drink. Y'all want something?" Gunz asked standing up.
"Nah bro, I'm good. Imma head out in a little."
Cali just shook her head no. He shrugged and left out the room. Cali watched Trill do something on his phone before he stood up and was about to walk out.
"You really not going to say nothing?" Cali asked looking at him.
"You came over here Cali, you want to talk so say what you got to say." Trill said stuffing his hands in his pockets and leaning against the wall.
Cali sighed getting frustrated with his rudeness. "Well you can start by saying why you hanging with Vanessa and having chit chats." Cali said with attitude clearly showing.
"Look I don't want that bitch, never did and never will. Once upon a time I loved her and I would do anything for her-." Cali looked down trying to avoid eye contact. She wasn't comfortable with him saying who he used to love. "But that shit is dead now. And the fact that you just walked away when I was going to explain it to you was uncalled for."
"How you think I felt? Someone you claimed you didn't know texting your phone and to find out that it was an ex that you used to love. I didn't want to hear it, then she being the reason why you don't want me no more came across my mind." Cali raised her voice but not to the point where she would be yelling.
"You honestly think I don't want you no more?" Trill walked over to her and took her hand standing her up. "I love you Cali and you think I'm just going to throw all this away." Trill said smoothly in a mellow voice.
"You said you wasn't going to force what isn't." Cali said looking at him and taking in all the features that attracted him to her. She was now toning down.
"I ain't mean it though baby. I had just met up with Vanessa a few days ago before that and everything that happened between us resurfaced and it put me in a bad mood."
"So you met up with her? To talk about what?" Cali eyed him.
"To leave me the fuck alone, when I tell you I don't fucking like her I mean that shit."
"Stop communicating with her Brandon, I'm not playing. When I saw I'm done I really mean it but I'm trying to give this a chance because I love you."
"You love me huh?" Trill smiled and took his thumb rubbing it along her bottom lip. "Tell me what you love about me."
"Really?" Cali giggled taking his other hand and intertwining their fingers.
"Yea."
"Well I love how you're so caring. I love that you treat me with respect and you're always here for me. I love the way you make me feel inside-."
"When I'm deep inside you where as though you feel it in your stomach?" Trill asked cutting her off. Cali blushed and Trill grabbed her waist closing the little space between them.
"You're nasty." Cali rolled her eyes playfully a smile on her face.
Trill broke their hands apart and placed Cali's hand over his heart. "You feel that?" Trill asked looking down at her. Cali nodded. "You got my heart and you have the power to break it if you want to."
"I wouldn't do that." Cali said shaking her head.
"Why not?"
"Because you have mine and I don't want you doing that to me."
Trill smiled down at her showing his perfect white teeth.
"You ready to go home?" Trill asked.
"Yes, I missed you."
"I did to baby." Trill placed a kiss on her forehead before turning to walk out.
Cali grabbed his hand stopping him. Trill turned around raising his eyebrow in a questionable manner.
Cali took his face in her hands and kissed him. Trill's hands immediately grabbed her hips pulling her into him. His tongue entered her mouth and Cali moaned at the feeling of their tongues connecting.Trill pulled away and grabbed her hand leading her down the stairs.
"G, we heading out." Trill called opening the front door.
"Y'all make me sick, in love asses." Gunz joke walking up to them. "But foreal I'm glad y'all made up and keep it that way."
"I will."
They left without another word getting into their separate cars and going home. Trill didn't know but Cali was prepared to cuss him out and it maybe leading to more days of being separate from each other but Trill's sweetness took things in another direction.
