"Hey Kay." Cali said opening opening the door and letting her in. "Look at my baby." Cali cooed taking Kay's daughter, Aylin, from the car seat.
"Hey, where my bad ass babies at?" Kay laughed taking a seat on the couch.
"Girl their asses out with their dad. They so overwhelming, I love them though."
"I miss them." Kay took her phone out and checked for messages.
"So what's up with you and Gunz?" Cali asked.
"Shit! I told you how I didn't hear from his ass in a whole week. Like nothing and then the nigga couldn't even see his daughter. Fuck him. Stupid bitch." Kay ranted.
Cali looked at her best friend wide mouthed hearing her ramble. Cali wanted to laugh because it was so unexpected but she knew this was a serious moment.
"Girl that was so unexpected, like I foreal want to laugh right now but I know this is a serious moment." Cali said trying to hold back a laugh.
Kay smirked at. "You dumb bitch." She said then a chuckle followed after.
"Bitch but let me tell you how some trifling ass broad texting Brandon phone on some dumb shit. I was mad but like I couldn't even dwell on it because I had to put my feelings to the side to focus on the kids."
"What he say?"
"He said he didn't give her his number and he don't know her. Like nigga you dumb if you think I'm stupid."
Aylin started to get fussy.
"Aww what's wrong with my baby." Cali said rocking her.
"She probably hungry, here." Kay grabbed the bottle and gave it to Cali who started to feed her with it.
"For her to be four months and tiny she so greedy." Cali said looking down at her.
"Don't I know it."
Just then the front door opened followed by a lot of yelling and laughing. Aylin's eyes popped open and she looked around.
"Maa. Maa." Braeden ran over to the couch but stopped once she saw the baby.
"Braeden be quiet."
"Shh." Braeden said covering his mouth and peeking over at the baby.
"He's a mess." Kay laughed.
"What's up Kay, hey baby." Trill said walking in holding a sleeping Karmen.
"What's up." Kay spoke.
"Hey." Cali spoke dryly.
"Hey Kay." Kay turned around and Gunz stood there rubbing the back of his neck.
"I'm not speaking to you." Kay said and turned back around ignoring the intense stare Gunz was giving her.
Gunz walked over and stood by the couch. "Hey mamas." Gunz cooed about to reach for Aylin.
"You crazy ass shit if you think you going to touch my daughter like everything all cool." Kay jumped up and pushed Gunz back.
"Ayoo-."
"Y'all can take y'all asses upstairs and talk." Trill said.
"Let's go then." Gunz grabbed Kay arm and the two began walking up the steps.
"You ain't got to touch me." Kay rolled her eyes and snatched her arm from him walking into a guest room.
Gunz followed behind her and shut the door.
"What's up with you yo. You putting ya fucking hands on me and shit then acting like I can't touch my daughter."
"I haven't heard a word from your ass in whole week. I tried calling and texting but nothing. Where the fuck you been."
"I went out of town for business."
"Without saying nothing to me." Kay glared at him.
"It was short notice and when I'm away I don't take calls. I need to remain focus, it's a dangerous job."
"You sound dumb." Kay tried to walk pass him and out the door but Gunz grabbed her making her stop.
"I sound dumb because I want to stay safe? I sound dumb because I want to make sure I make it back to my daughter and my girl?" Gunz said looking directly at her.
Kay looked away from him blinking because her eyes were becoming watery.
"What's really wrong with you?" Gunz grabbed her face making her look at him.
"I thought you just left Amari. I didn't hear from you and I thought you bailed."
"I told you from the very beginning that I wasn't going no where right?" Kay nodded. "And I'm not, I stick to my word. I love the both of y'all what imma leave for? That was dumb to ever think that."
"Action speaks louder than words so-."
"I get it, that was in considerate of me to do that. It won't happen again. I'm sorry, you forgive me?"
"Yea." Kay mumbled.
Gunz leaned down connecting his lips to hers and entering his tongue in her mouth.
-
"What's wrong with you?" Trill asked Cali.
"Nothing." Cali said simply.
"I swear.-" Trill started shaking his head.
"You swear what? Huh?" Cali asked looking at him.
"I swear I hate when you do that shit yo. You leave it to me to figure out what's wrong with ya crazy ass like I'm a mind reader." Trill spoke getting up and walking out the living room.
Cali got up setting the baby in the car seat before following behind him.
"You the one that been walking around here with an attitude and acting like you hate the world. You shutting me out Brandon not the other way around. If you think imma deal with the cold shoulder you got me fucked up cause I'm not."
"So what you saying huh?" Trill eyed her.
Cali shrugged looking at him. "I'm just saying you been acting different and I don't want to be with anybody that seem like they don't want to be with me anymore."
"So that's what-."
"Cali we finna leave." Kay said walking into the kitchen with Gunz behind her.
"Ok, I'll call you later boo." Cali gave her a hug.
"See you bro." Gunz went and dapped Trill. "Bye lor sis."
"See you." Cali spoke quietly.
Cali watched the two walked out and thought that bitch ain't done. She chuckled to herself. All that shit talking and they right back together.
"So what you was about to say?" Cali asked turning her attention back to him.
"Shit, do what you want Cali. I ain't forcing what's not. Just know I still want to see my kids." Trill said then left her standing in the kitchen alone.
What the fuck just happened? Cali sighed.
