Taya...

"Merry Christmas!" Lexi squealed, throwing her arms around me. "I just wish we were going to be spending it together." She began to pout.

"Aye," I went into my room and grabbed her wrapped gift. "It's not like I'm going to be gone all damn day. Here."

She was about to open it, but stopped. "Wait a minute, let me get your gift." She ran off

Fetty laughed and shook his head. "Y'all remind me of my lil' sister man. Happy as fuck about Christmas gifts."

Lexi came back and handed me mines. We both opened them up at the same time.

"Oh my, Taya, it's beautiful." She smiled at the collage I had made of us from the age we met, which was 5 all the way up until now.

She gave me a hug from the side and added, "Thanks. It really is beautiful." She examined it. "Go ahead and open yours, boo."

I ripped it open and gasped.

It was literally the same thing. A collage of us from the time we met up until now.

"Great minds think alike." She tapped the side of her head.

"Oh wow." I laughed and sat my collage on the coffee table. "I should find something to hang this up somewhere in my room."

She sat close to Fetty on the couch, snuggling up next to him. "Taya, I'm gonna miss you today."

"You'll be aight." I replied and pulled up my jeggings. "Fetty'll keep you company, right?" I gave Fetty a look which said, 'You better say the right thing'.

"My baby know she gone always have fun wit' a nigga like me." He replied with a smirk, throwing his arm around Lexi.

She looked up at him. "What exactly are we doing today?"

"I was thinkin' about takin' you to my mama house." He shrugged. "That alright with you? You been rockin' with me for a minute so I think it's about that time."

"Of course." She weakly smiled and looked down at her feet.

Aw, she's nervous.

My phone began to ring, indicating that Monty was downstairs for me.

"I'll be back today around 5:00 pm- if you're going to be here. Merry Christmas y'all." I smiled and waved at the two, leaving the apartment afterwards.

.....

Lexi...

"Is your mom nice?" I nervously asked as we pulled up to his mother's house. "Your dad?"

He nodded his head yes. "They cool peoples. As long as you don't be actin' like you better than people and shit."

I gasped and placed my hand on my chest. "Do I honestly act like that?"

He took the key out of the ignition and turned to face me. "Nah. I was just warning you. Cause they'll fire yo ass up." He chuckled.

I inspected my face in the mirror for like the millionth time since I got in the car.

"Do I look okay? Anything unusual on my face?" I rambled on while I pointed at various places on my face.

He laughed and shook his head at me. "Calm the hell down, bae."

"I don't want them to not like me because-"

He grabbed my face, kissing me passionately. "You gone do good. You a good person, baby. Let's go."

I smirked to myself and bit my bottom lip. Then I grabbed my cell phone and got out of the car.

I found myself fidgeting at the front door as we waited to someone to answer the door.

Fetty smacked my ass, causing me to jump.

"You gotta stop doing that shit, Will." I complained and rubbed the spot he hit. "I bet I have a hand mark."

A woman opened the door, smirking. "Will." She greeted with her arms spread wide apart for a hug. "Merry Christmas." She added.

"Hey mama." He chuckled and hugged her. "This my girlfriend I was telling you about." He pointed at me.

"Hi, I'm Lexington. It's nice to meet you."

She gave me a look of confusion.

She's probably thinking, What the fuck kind of name is that?

"Although, I go by Lexi. I'm not a big fan of Lexington, either." I added.

She flashed me a smile as Will placed his hand on my lower back.

I held my hand out for a handshake.

"We give hugs out around here, child." She smiled and pulled me into a hug. Then we both pulled out of the hug. "Lexington; What a pretty name. Come on, we have the food already ready to eat."

I threw my head back and groaned. "Thank goodness," I looked back at Will. "I'm starving."

"I hope you can eat because there's plenty to eat." His mom replied, leading us into the kitchen.

.....

We were all eating when Fetty's mom came up to the table to speak to the two of us.

"You really picked a good one, Will." She said. "She ain't nothin' like the rest."

I smirked and continued to eat. "Thank you, um...." I trailed off, signaling for her to give me a name to call her by.

"Just call me mama." She gave me a warm smile and I gave her one back.

"Okay, um... Mama." I chuckled and threw my hands up in the air.

She walked off into the living room where the rest of Will's siblings were.

"She's nice." I told him.

He laughed and put his arm around my chair. "I told you you ain't have shit to worry about."

Mama came into the kitchen, smacking Will upside the head. "Quit all that cussin' up in my house."

I couldn't help but giggle.
