-A Couple Weeks Later

Lexi...

"Girl get the fuck!" I laughed, throwing a pillow at Taya. "You're childish." I added.

"We're still 18, don't we have the right to be childish?" Taya teased and stuck her tongue out at me.

"No! We're basically adults now since we're responsible for ourselves." I laughed. "And about Fetty... you know he's not my boyfriend. He really is just a friend." I assured.

At least for now, that is.

I've started to have feelings grow for Fetty, if we're being honest here.

But, I don't want to say anything as of right now because what if a romantic relationship messes up the friendship that we've developed?

"Bitch, you wanna ride his-"

"Wassup?" Fetty's voice interrupted.

I looked at the front door and saw him entering the apartment. He was laughing a little. "Y'all should lock y'all fuckin' door. This shit dangerous."

He was picking me up so that we could go out for the afternoon. We weren't doing anything specific, and since I left it all up to Fetty, we were most likely just going to be driving around since that's something he loves to do.

I grabbed my purse and slyly remarked, "And you should start knocking, buddy."

Oh Lord, I'm picking up on his lingo. I thought to myself.

He says that all of the damn time.

He nodded and waved at Taya.

"Hey, Fetty. Don't keep her out too late. And if y'all decide to fuck, use protec-"

I cut her off by chunking a pillow from the couch at her. "Goodbye, you idiot." I giggled and closed the apartment door behind me and Fetty.

"Y'all relationship is funny." Fetty told me.

"She's annoying. But I guess I love her." I shrugged with a smirk. "You should try living with her though."

He shook his head. "I think I'm good."

When we approached his car, he opened my door for me.

"Such a gentleman." I said, putting my seatbelt on.

Then he got in and started the ignition.

"Boaaaa, this car is so nice. Where did you get the money? Where do you work?"

He chuckled and turned to look at me. "I'll tell ya' ass when I tell ya'."

I poked my bottom lip and began to pout. "What are we doing today? Are we gettin' food? We're just drivin? Ooh, shopping?" I rambled on.

He pulled up to a stop light. "Lexi, shut the fuck up." He said without looking at me.

I squinted my eyes at him.

Fetty...

"Me callo ? ¿Me estás diciendo que se callara ? quién coño eres tú para decirme que se calle ? Nigga te callas , diciéndome que me callara. nadie me dice que se calle . ¿Qué carajo te pasa diciéndome que se calle ? Chico..." She quickly popped off at the mouth.

"The fuck did you just say? You talkin' shit?" I asked, turning my head to look at her a little bit.

"I'm sorry, I got carried away. I was a little astonished when you told me to shut up." She sarcastically replied.

"What was that, Spanish?" I guessed.

She nodded. "I'm a mixed chick." She flipped her good, curly hair over her shoulder. "My daddy's black and my mom's Hispanic." She briefly explained to me.

"Ya' mama and daddy said, 'Let's go half and half on a baby' like a hoe." I teased before laughing at my own damn joke.

She hit me on the arm. "You're fucking stupid. That was so corny."

I pulled up to the mall, since she been bothering me about somebody going to the mall with her. I guess Taya don't do malls like that or somethin'.

She pulled down the mirror and began to fix her hair and shit.

"I'on know why you doin' allat. You always gone be ugly as fuck." I teased and took off my seatbelt.

"Ay, maldito idiota..." She mumbled, slamming the mirror back up.

"What the fuck you say?"

"I said, 'Oh, look Fetty's cute self.' " She tapped the side of my face and quickly got out of the car.

I groaned to myself and followed behind here, staring at her ass. It jiggled when she walked and switched ha' hips. I swea' she doin' this on purpose.

When she gone stop playin' and be mines?

.....

Lexi...

"This, or this?" I asked with a smirk painted on my face. I was holding up two of the same blouses, just in different colors.

Fetty groaned and leaned back in his chair.

"Man, I'on know. They the same damn thing." He complained. "I made a huge ass mistake bringin' ya' indecisive ass here." He mumbled, but I heard every word clearly.

I walked past him and pushed his head. "I heard you." I told him.

I grabbed the peach shirt, putting the other one back.

As we left the store, Fetty grabbed my hand. It's the most intimate he's ever gotten with me, well, other than a hug. I began to rub his hand with my thumb.

I can't wait until our relationship moves on even further. I've been having these feelings for him for a while now.

Suddenly, my phone began to ring.

I looked down at it and saw that it was my mother. We'd just got back on speaking terms since as soon as school ended, my parents decided to kick me out.

They told me it was time for me to make my own money and live on my own, when in all reality, I believe they were just tired of having to deal with me all these years when they could've done so much more if I wasn't born.

We had money. And most of the time they went on vacations without me, leaving me with my nanny and maid, Maria.

I always felt lonely- even if I did have Maria with me. All I wanted was my parents' love and it felt like they'd abandoned me. Of course, they tried to shower me with gifts to show love and make up for leaving me alone all the time, but I was still hurting.

I decided to ignore the call and put my phone into my purse.

"You good?" Fetty asked, looking down at me.

I nodded my head and smiled, "Never better."
