Lexi...
"Oh, bullshit!" I yelled, pushing my plate aside. "Who are you to tell me what type of mother I'm going to be to my child?!"
"Lexington Marie Fuller, have a seat." My daddy mumbled with food in his mouth.
I struggled to get up from my seat. "You know what, we've tried to get over our disagreements," I heavily sighed and ran my hands through my hair. "But I refuse to have any time of relationship with you. I just- I don't want anything to do with you anymore." I whined.
Then I sniffled, trying to keep the tears from falling. "And you know, I'm kind of starting to think that I...I..." I stopped to get myself together. "I'm starting to think that I hate you just as much as you hate me."
She quickly looked up from her glass. "What? I do not hate you." My mom stated.
I rolled my eyes and crossed my eyes. "Do. Not. Lie. To. Me." I said and hit the table in between every word. "Excuse me for cursing, but don't fuckin' lie to me." I shook my head.
"What? I'm not-" She quickly got up from her seat. "I am not lying. I love you." She held her hands out towards me.
"I've told you not to fuckin' lie to me, you serpentine ass bitch!" I yelled, getting worked up.
Taya heard the baby crying upstairs and told everyone that's where she would be going.
"I putting this shit on my fuckin' grandma's grave! If you lie to me again, I'm going to throw this fucking glass across this motherfuckin' room!" I screamed.
It's official that I've been around Fetty for too long now. I'm finding myself using 'On my mama' and 'On my grandma's grave' .
Tears were streaming down my face by now. "When I was 9..." I trailed off and wiped my face. "I heard you."
"I just hate her."
"I should've aborted her."I lowly quoted my mother from that day.
Fetty got up to wrap his arms around me, kissing my cheek and rubbing my arm to soothe and calm me down. "You gone be aight?" He asked.
I wiped my face. "I want to leave." I straight up said.
My daddy walked over to give me a hug as well. "Baby girl, don't leave. You just got here." He whispered.
I shook my head. "No," I sniffled again. "I want to go. I have to go." I shrugged him off of me and quickly ran up the stairs.
I made sure I had everything packed away in my bags and paused, placing my hand on my belly. I looked over my shoulder to see Taya burping the baby.
"I called my mom. I still got my room and she has an extra guest bedroom she can set up for you and Fetty." She informed me.
I let out a breath of relief. "Oh my God, thank you so much." I made my way over to her and wrapped my arms around her. "Because if I had to stay five more nights here with that bitch, I'd kill her."
Taya laughed, "Lexi."
I smirked and pulled away from her. "This is the main reason I've been pushing off this trip. Drama was destined to unfold." I chuckled and looked up to Fetty.
He raised an eyebrow. "Babe, you good?"
I quickly nodded my head yes. "We're going to go stay with Taya's mom because I can't do another day here." I explained and laid back on the bed.
.....
"Hey moooom," I exaggerated, giving Taya's mom a hug.
She smiled and hugged me before placing a hand on my stomach. "Mhmm, you and my daughter been some little busy bodies up there in New Jersey."
Taya rolled her eyes and handed Jaylon to her mom. "Here's Jaylon." She smiled.
"Granny's baby!" She squealed and repeatedly kissed his cheek, causing him to smile a bit.
"Oh, by the way, this is my boyfriend, Will." I introduced.
Fetty flashed a smile and waved. "Nice to meet you."
"This is your baby daddy too, right?" Taya's mom, Denise whispered to me, still holding the baby.
I playfully rolled my eyes. "Yes, mother." I sarcastically replied.
The thing I loved about Taya's mom, was that she wasn't so uppity and prissy like my mom. She didn't have money and was a single mother. She wasn't afraid to say what was on her mind, much like Fetty.
Most importantly- she couldn't stand my mother as much as me.
We all took our bags upstairs and got settled in.
Later, I began to crave some chocolate chip cookies and insisted that we drive out late to find some. But, Denise didn't want us out late so she called Taya and I down to make some, while Fetty stayed upstairs to sleep.
"You know, I never did like yo' stuck up ass mama." She started, mixing up the cookie dough.
I preheated the oven and nodded my head. "Of course."
Taya laughed as her son swung in his little swing. "That ain't got enough chocolate chips in it. Hea'." She threw a couple more into the batter.
"I mean, we tried to make a friendship work for the both of you," Denise pointed at Taya and I. "But, I just..." She groaned. "I was about to kill that bitch."
"I feel bad now that I've cursed her out." I mumbled and sat down on a chair at the table. I heavily sighed and placed my fist underneath my chin.
"Girl, don't even stress yourself out over her." Taya leaned up against the counter. "It's not even worth it. Especially since you're pregnant."
I nodded my head. "Yeah, you're right. I've tried so hard to mend our relationship but when one person in the relationship has hatred for the other," I cocked my eyebrows to the side. "It isn't even worth it."
Denise ate some of the cookie dough which caused Taya and I to chuckle at her childish behavior. "I know that's right. And she's honestly hurtin' herself because she missed out on a beautiful little girl's life." She complimented.
I slightly blushed. "Thanks so much. You've always been like a second mom to me." I pushed my hair over my shoulder.
We all got around the big bowl and placed balls of cookie dough on the cookie sheet.
"It's too bad that she's going to miss out on her grandchild's life. But that's her fault." Taya shrugged.
