-Four months later.

Lexi...

"Will," I whined into the phone. "I need you to come home."

He'd told me he was going to the trap earlier today.

I could tell that he had that cocky smirk on his face. "You miss daddy?"

I took a deep breath. "Now is not the time!" I screamed and held onto my stomach as I felt a sharp pain in my side.

My water had broken and now I was in labor.

"My water broke..." I took in a deep breath. "I'm scared. Just come as soon as possible, okay? I love you." I quickly hung up the phone and practiced some breathing techniques I learned from Taya.

About 15 minutes later, Fetty and Taya rushed into the house, helping me down the stairs.

"I'm so happy to see you babe." I weakly smiled.

"Oh wow, just ignore the fact that your best friend is here too." Taya scoffed and laughed, opening the front door.

"Taya, you know I-" I stopped to groan. "Love you." I finished my sentence and waddled towards the car. "What are you doing here anyways?" I asked her.

She climbed into the backseat while Fetty helped me into the passenger seat. Then, I fastened my seat belt.

"After you called me I told Fetty to pick me up. And I already know you're going to ask- Jaylon is with Monty." She replied.

"Aw," I groaned and shifted in my seat. "You know me so well."

.....

"What slowed the baby down? Things seemed like they were moving so fast." I whined as Fetty and I walked down the hospital hallways to induce labor.

He shook his head. "Hell if I know. Is you aight, because you look pale as fuck."

He scoffed. "Wow, thanks for the compliment." I sarcastically replied.

"My bad." He laughed and placed his hand on my lower back.

"My feet hurt." I mumbled. "Let's go back to the room. I need to lay down."

When we got back to the room, Taya was telling me about epidural.

"Are you going to get it?" She asked and scrolled down Instagram on her phone.

I giggled. "No, silly girl." I fixed the blanket on my leg. "I told you- I plan on going natural. I believe that I can get through the pain."

"The way you was cryin' in the car says otherwise." Fetty scoffed and ran a hand down the side of his face.

I smacked my lips. "Who asked you?"

He shrugged with a smile painted across his cute ass face.

"Fuck." I lowly cursed when I felt a pain in my lower back and pressure down in my pelvis. I squinted my eyes shut.  "I feel pressure. Is that normal?" I asked Taya with worry written all over my face.

"That's the baby moving down." She smiled. Then she clapped her hands. "The baby is on its way!" She squealed.

I pulled the covers over my face, beginning to cry from the pain.

I cannot do this birth without epidural. I just can't.

I sniffled and peeked my head from under the blanket. "I need epidural. Somebody, please go and get me a fuckin' nurse. Please." I begged.

Taya laughed. "I should let you sit here and suffer. I told your ass you was too much of a baby to have a baby without epidural." She pointed at me. "But I'll go get you a nurse. I'll be right back." She informed me and exited the room.

She came back into the room after about five minutes with a nurse following behind her.

"Is this needle going to hurt?" I asked as I bent over for them to put the needle for the epidural into my back.

"I'm going to stick you and it'll be like a little bee sting. You won't even feel the rest, just me pushing on your back." The nurse explained with a bright smile on her face.

I nodded, believing her. "I was asking because I'm not a big fan of needles." I nervously laughed and closed my eyes.

"That is perfectly fine, sweetheart," She replied. "I mean, who is a big fan of needles?" She prepped it.

"Heroin addicts." Fetty mumbled while he placed his phone down on the little table next to the hospital bed.

The nurse and I gasped, bursting into laughter. Taya was gasping for air because she was laughing so much. "Okay Fetty, let me find out you funny." She pointed her index finger before getting up from her seat. "I need some air. I'll be back Lexi. You better not have that baby." She lowly laughed. "Stay in for auntie, nephew! Just for a little while longer!" Taya yelled and exited the hospital room.

.....

"Let's have a baby!" The doctor cheered as the nurses propped my feet up.

I felt as if I was gasping for air my now. I was so nervous about becoming a mother and I honestly had a fear of becoming my mother. The first thing I told myself when I found out I was pregnant with my son was that I would be a better mother to my child than my mother was to me.

I'm just scared, but now I have to overcome my fears because my baby was coming now.

"Okay, Lexington." Dr. Collins placed on her latex gloves and sat in between my legs. "When you feel your next contraction, I want you to push until we count to 10." She instructed.

I nodded my head and grabbed onto Fetty's hand while Taya held onto my leg.

After an hour, I was still pushing and growing tired.

"I can't do this anymore." I whined and threw my head back into my pillow.

"The baby's almost here, you got this!" Taya smiled, pushing some hair out of my face.

"Baby, you got dis'." Fetty whispered in my ear before he wiped my forehead with a towel. I was sweating up a storm.

"Oh my goodness, the head is- Fetty look at this!" Taya yelled.

I shook my head. He's going to regret going to look between my legs.

He came back to the side of the bed by me, running a hand down his face while he groaned.

After about three more pushes, I felt an immense amount of pressure before there was a burning sensation.

I laid my head on my pillow and closed my eyes to catch my breath. My eyes popped open when I felt something being placed on my chest.

The nurses had laid my baby on my chest while Fetty cut his umbilical cord.

"Hi, mommy's baby..." I quietly said, a huge smile on my face while I began to cry. "Hi..."

Then they took him away to quickly be cleaned off. I felt as if I was in a daze as I watched them.
