Lexi...

"Man, I honestly don't want to be in here. I'd look horrible in any of this." I whined and put some lingerie back on the rack.

Taya has had four months to lose a majority of her baby weight- and she looks amazing.

Me, on the other hand, just had my baby about eight weeks ago and I still needed to work on losing the weight.

People still tell me my body is amazing but I don't see it.

"Okay, how about this," Taya started and handed Jaylon a toy from his baby bag. "I'll work out with you for a while. Just until you begin to feel confident about yourself."

"I'm confident." I boldly replied and turned to look in the mirror. "It's just that..." I looked at my belly in the mirror. It wasn't a gut, but it wasn't flat like before. "I don't like this."

"Consider yourself thick." Taya cheesed.

I giggled and playfully slapped her arm. "Bye, bitch." I said.

She shrugged and began to push her stroller behind me. "Hey, I just want my best friend to be happy again."

"You make it seem like I'm depressed or something. I'm okay, Taya." I slightly laughed. "Look at us, two mommies with our strollers." I pointed out.

She nudged me with her shoulders while smiling. "Ayeee, mommy club!" She cheered.

I began to quickly push my stroller to get ahead of her. "Never do that shit again." I told her over my shoulder.

Then, we made our way to the food court since we'd been at the mall for a while now.

I sat down in front of Taya, immediately stuffing French fries in my mouth.

I'm starving.

"So, what's been up with you?" I asked and took a sip from my soda.

She sighed. "Monty's stupid ass got arrested for havin' weed and shit in the damn car." She played with her food before she ended up eating some of it. "He needs to realize that he got a baby now. He can't just go out and do the shit that he want." She mumbled.

I fixed my hair. "I literally just talked to Fetty about this before I left the house."

"Yeah, nobody was answering they phones so guess what? I had to drag my ass out of bed and go get him." She chuckled, eating some more of her chilli cheese fries.

I nodded my head. "I just hope Fetty doesn't get locked up or worse- killed. But enough about depressing stuff." I flashed a smile. "How's work? I really miss it at the shop."

She was able to go back to work for the past month and I'm deciding to go back when Aydin is around three months.

I miss doing everything at Jasmine's shop, especially all of the gossip we had to share with everyone.

"I'm really glad that I'm back. I would occasionally go over to the shop while I was pregnant and Jas would have to run my ass off." Taya giggled.

I began to laugh uncontrollably because that sounded like something that would happen.

"You're an idiot." I replied. "I love Jas and the shop, but I'd take any day off. Especially if I was pregnant. My feet were so damn swollen." I chuckled.

"Are we still having our girls night?" Taya asked.

I looked down at Aydin in his stroller, whom had fallen asleep. I quickly fixed his head. "Yeah. Will's mom volunteered to babysit since I don't trust him to have the baby by himself yet."

She waved me off. "Girl, Fetty is in love with his son. He does just fine."

"Still don't trust him." I slightly laughed. "You understand, I know you do."

"Yes ma'am," She gathered up all of her trash. "That's why Jaylon is going to his grandma's house."

I got all of my trash together as well. "Okay. So I'll go home, get a bag together, and come over to the apartment at about 9?" I suggested.

She nodded her head and got up from her seat. "That sounds good."

.....

-Later that night.

"This is well needed." Taya mumbled, flipping through the channels on the television trying to find a good movie to watch. "Man, ain't shit on!" She snapped.

I laughed so hard that my cheeks had turned rosy red and my side began to hurt.

"Girl, calm that ass down. Don't you have movies?" I reminded while I walked into the kitchen to grab a soda. I brought her one back as well.

"Thanks." She quietly said and got up to grab a movie. "Baby Boy, right?"

I nodded my head. "You know that's our movie." We knew every word to it, too.

She smirked before she popped the DVD into the movie player.

"I hate you!" Jody's son from the movie Baby Boy yelled.

"I hate you too lil' nigga, you ain't my son." Rodney replied, me and Taya saying it as well.

We both giggled and slapped hands. "We some stupid bitches." Taya laughed.

I paused. "Eh, no. You're the stupid bitch. But you're my stupid bitch." I smirked, wrapping my arms around her for a hug.

"Get the fuck off of me." She chuckled, shrugging my arms off of her.

.....

I ended up going to sleep in Taya's bed with her.

Deep into my slumber, my cell phone began to ring.

I pulled it off of the charger and rolled over in bed, answering. It was a female voice.

"You have a collect call from-"

"Willie Maxwell."
