"Who are you?" asked Mireille, "I don't think I've seen you here before."
"I share your confusion, young lady. What purpose would a crowd of young adults have here?"
"Is it just me or is his way of speaking sounds... old?" whispered Jean to Marc.
"How unusual, long silver hair," Aurore murmured and I felt my heart dropping.
He was the guy who I saw with Felix before.
"You talk weird," Mireille complained on his face, "what's up with that?"
"I might say the same of you, young lady, could it be that 𝘺𝘰𝘶 are speaking rather oddly?"
"Stop that," Mireille sounded annoyed.
"A rather rude one at that, I see."
While all of them seemed completely normal meeting him if not for their confusion and frustration at his way of speech, me, however, felt like there was an invisible wall between me and the rest of the group, where my palms were socked in cold sweat as I was afraid of turning to meet his gaze.
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘥𝘰?, continued to repeat in my mind like an echo.
I mind was not working properly, obviously. Why was I so terrified? I couldn't understand.
"Chloe, why are you facing that way?" asked Marc as he followed my line of sight, only to find nothing but the space outside the frozen window, "there's nothing there."
"My goodness," the silver haired guy spoke again, "what might we have here?"
I flinched.
Tap... Clack... Tap... Clack...
The taping of cane and boot increased towards me. He was getting closer.
My hands shook in terror. No words could find it's way on my lips.
"Would you look at that, if it isn't our lost friend," a hand was placed on my shoulders, "𝘝𝘰𝘪𝘥."
A shadow flew in the heist from my necklace, causing a riptid of tempest before making his escape outside.
No other sound was heard in the room for the next moment.
"Humf, as shy as ever, that child," the hand released my shoulder.
What is this? It felt as if my entire body regain its control all of a sudden. All the terror, indulging in my entire body, left as if a heavy coat was removed.
Was it because the silver haired guy was doing something and stopped it for the moment or was my terror not mine but Void's? I might not get the answer for now.
I finally turned and met eyes with the silver haired guy.
Around six feet tall built with ocean blue eyes and long lashes. Skin whiter than a swan with long silver blue straight hair that shone even in the dark room.
"Nope, he cannot be human."
"And why might that be?"
"Bloody hell, I said that out loud?"
"You might need to watch your mouth, lady."
I squinted my eyes.
Anyway.
Leaving this guy aside, didn't Void just left the room... in front of everyone? IN. FRONT. OF. EVERYONE?
I turned to others in panic as I quickly thought of ways that would have convinced them but, "Huh?"
