Around two and a half hours had gone by in a flash, consisting of a variety of different video games. Strangers had come and gone from the room over that window of time, but none of their friends had returned. It seemed that by eleven, most of the partygoers were relaxed and enjoying whatever they hoped to gain out of the party. Most were dancing to the DJ in the backyard, but the house was packed with those lingering inside for conversations and flirting. A near constant onslaught of people whizzed in and out of the house to visit Kyle, who had accidentally mentioned that he was running low on ecstasy, which spread and caused high demand. At least they were coming to him for once.

Jamison's lips curled up in disgust as he listened to the two newest strangers who'd flopped down onto the couch to sloppily make out. Their spit smacking and slurping. Fortunately, they'd just finished their latest round. "Um, I'm gonna go grab a drink before I get sick." Setting the controller on the armchair, he stood and stretched his fingers wide. Holding them cramped for so long didn't seem healthy.

"I'll come with you," Elliot said, looking over at the strangers. He'd seen Vera and Jack go at it like that before, but it didn't make it any more pleasant to be privy to. Taking Jamison's hand, he led him back downstairs, through the crowd, and into the kitchen, only to find Ant sitting on the island and chugging a bottle of water. "Oh, hey. Where's Sam?"

He shrugged. "He ditched me while we were dancing to go talk to some girl."

"A girl?" Jamison grabbed them bottles of water and leaned back against Elliot, relishing the feeling of him sliding his arm around his waist to pull him close. With his ass firmly against his crotch, he choked back a moan. If only they were alone. 'We need to go home and get fucked,' his inner voice complained.

"He's not gay, remember?"

Ant began laughing as soon as it was out of Elliot's mouth. "I honestly don't care," he said, catching the sad look that Jamison gave him. "Just so long as he's safe about it, what's it matter to me?" he said, then yawned loudly.

Jamison took a drink of water as he considered Ant's reaction. He hadn't known him long enough to get a real sense for his emotions and was unsure if he believed him. "So, you don't want to be his boyfriend?"

He shrugged again. "It doesn't really matter. You heard him say that we're just friends." Ant finished the bottle of water and crushed it. "The right guy'll come along. You did for Elliot, and he was hopelessly closed off to the world. In a total freeze, you know?"

"Goddammit, not this again," Elliot grumbled, frowning at Ant. "I wasn't frozen or whatever you guys thought."

Rolling his eyes, Ant looked back at Jamison. "My point was just that I'm a lot more open than Elliot was, and he still found his perfect little princess so—"

"Actually, he's the princess," Jamison interrupted, grinning wildly and discreetly pushing back against his crotch to tease him.

A whoosh of heat turned his face bright red as Ant smirked and met his gaze. The little bit of humiliation and added pressure against his groin was working; he could feel the ache begin to build in the pit of his stomach. Jamison was clearly teasing him, and he was paralyzed by it.

"Is that so?" When his cheeks only deepened to beet red, Ant chuckled and shook his head in slight disbelief. He'd never expected that out of Supreme Jock Elliot. "That's what I mean. You found each other and, no offense and all, but you guys are both pretty weird and particular. It shouldn't be long for me to find someone who is a good match."

Despite the glow developing in his cheeks, Jamison kept his grin as he listened to Ant. "For what it's worth, I think you and Sam make a cute couple. You seem to gel well."
