Rick was driving his car with Wade, Jonathan, Ardeth, and Alex all inside towards the Museum.

Ardeth: I am sorry if I alarmed your son, but you must understand now that the bracelet on his wrist, we have only seven days before the Scorpion King awakens.

Rick: we? What we?

Ardeth; if he is not killed, he will raise the Army of Anubis.

Jonathan: I take it that's not a good thing.

Wade: <reloading his guns> oh, he'll wipe out the world.

Jonathan; the old "wipe out the world" ploy.

Ardeth; whomever can kill the Scorpion King can send the army back to the Underworld or use it to destroy mankind and rule the Earth.

Rick: that's why they dug up Imhotep. He's the only guy tough enough to take out the Scorpion King.

Ardeth: that is their plan.

They arrived at the museum and Rick parked the car as he looked at the back.

Rick: Alex, I've got a big job for you. I want you to stay here and protect the car.

Jonathan; I can do that.

Alex: protect the car? Come on, dad, just because I'm a kid doesn't mean I'm stupid.

Wade: eh, who is it that is wearing the Bracelet of Anubis and started a countdown for the end of the world?

Alex: <looks at his wrist> touché.

Jonathan: if you see anyone come out screaming, it's just me.

Rick: maybe you should stay here and watch him.

Jonathan; yes, now you're talking.

Rick, Ardeth, and Wade went to the back of the car as Rick showed them his small armory that he had in the trunk.

Rick: you want the shotgun?

Ardeth: no, I prefer the Thompson.

They started loading up as Wade checked the machine gun he was holding and it still had some rounds on it but not too many as he grabbed some dynamite Rick packed. Ardeth assembled the Thompson as he saw Rick's tattoo on his wrist.

Ardeth; if I were to say to you, I'm a stranger traveling from the east, seeking that which is lost...

Rick; then I would reply that I am a stranger traveling from the west. It is I whom you seek. How...

Ardeth; then it is true. You have the sacred mark.

Rick; what, that? No, that got slapped on me in an orphanage in Cairo.

Ardeth: that mark means you're a protector of man, a warrior of God, a Medjai.

Rick; sorry. You've got the wrong guy.

Wade: but you were the only one who got that got that tattoo.

Rick: doesn't mean anything.

In the treasures of Egypt section of the Museum, the Cultists started the ritual many of them formed a circle and started bowing and chanting like how Imhotep's priests did long ago. They carried the knocked out and tied up Evelyn as they placed her on a stone table.

Hafez was chanting in Ancient Egyptian as a Cultist was holding the Book of the Dead being Hafez's podium.

Evelyn: <waking up> Mr Hafez.
