Temple of Karnak
It was night time as the Cultists were gathering the camels as they seemed to be ditching the train since it can only take them so far. Alex was chained to a pole inside the temple as he was moving around it while shaking the chain.
Donovan: I wouldn't try that, kiddo.
Donovan walked over with a water canteen.
Donovan: that little stun you pulled earlier? You're pushing your luck. Don't act like a brat otherwise as soon as your usefulness is over, Lock-Nah will gladly kill you.
Alex: but until then, you will have to do what I say. Where's my water?
Donovan: I just told you not to be a brat. Here. <hands him the canteen> it's poisoned by the way.
Alex: you're bluffing. You're trying to scare me.
Donovan; am I? Or am I telling you this so you would know I poisoned it so you never take a swig of water and slowly want that water until you drink it out of desperation and then die.
Alex: how do I know you're telling the truth?
Donovan: perhaps I am telling the truth to make you doubt I'm telling the truth or I'm lying and you think it's the truth but otherwise it ain't a truth.
Alex: so... it's the truth?
Donovan: you're not making any sense. <starts walking away>
Alex: no ice?
Donovan: nope. I took it all, it was all mine.
When Alex saw Donovan left, he went next to a statue as he poured the water on the sand getting it wet as he started making something.
Next day
The Dirigible landed as Rick, Ardeth, and Wade ran towards the train as they checked it with their guns pointing everywhere inside as Rick saw the hourglass.
Ardeth: they've gone. We're lost them.
Wade: <hits the cart> damn!
Inside the temple, Evelyn and Ahmanet were searching inside as Ahmanet took off her boots and rolled her sleeves as she jumped on the pillars and started crawling around getting some high ground view.
Evelyn went to where Alex was held up and saw his tie hanging on a statue's hand.
Evelyn; Rick! <grabs his tie and looks down>
The others all ran over.
Evelyn; Alex left us his tie, and he made us a little sand castle.
Ahmanet: the Temple Island of Philae.
Evelyn: they've gone to Philae.
Rick: that-a-boy, Alex. Come on!
They ran out as they went to the temple island as Alex left another sand castle as this time it was some big statues inside the side of a mountain.
Ahmanet: the great temple of Abu Simbel.
Every time they left a place, Ardeth sent Horus to deliver the message to the Medjai Tribe Leaders to where they're heading. The group departed the place as the Cultists traveled by Camel, Alex was reading a book as Donovan rode next to him wearing a desert fedora.
Lock-Nah spotted Horus in the distance.
Horus delivered a message as the one leading all of the tribes told them to move forward as it was in fact a very large Army of Medjai Warriors all in horses. It looks like they could rival a Kingdom in another land, in a Middle-Earth.
