"HOW much longer is it gonna take? Let's go!" Dae-su hollered whilst Cheong-san used the tripod in his hand to push a few zombies back.
The barrier the students had built was on the verge of collapsing at that point, and their collective strength against an increasing amount of zombies trying to break it down or climb over it could only keep it up for so long.
Wu-jin peeked out the window again, only to find that there were still more zombies running by the room.
"A little more. Not yet!" He shouted back.
"How much is 'a little'? We can't hold it for that much longer!" Na-ri yelled.
So many zombies had piled up that half of the group had to abandon holding up the barricade in order to grab objects they could use to fend off the creatures trying to scale the wall of furniture.
After another minute or so, when the hallway appeared empty at last, Wu-jin stepped away from the window and moved to the door, opening it and sticking his head out to look both ways.
"Clear. We have to go now!" He called out to the rest of the group before picking up a tripod from the floor, clutching it tightly in both hands.
Hyo-ryung was the first to leave the wall.
Then, Ji-min, then Joon-yeong.
"Hurry!" Wu-jin urged.
Nam-ra then ran over to do the door, On-jo following after her, then Mi-ok, then Na-ri.
Only Cheong-san, Su-hyeok, and Dae-su were left.
"Cheong-san!" On-jo called out.
"Guys, come on!" Na-ri belted.
"Go!" Cheong-san encouraged Dae-su.
"You go first." Dae-su strained in between deep breaths, using all of his might to hold the barricade in place. "I'm gonna shit my pants. Go!"
Su-hyeok grunted as the wall shook against him, his jaw clenched tightly as he contemplated what to do, eventually opting to join the others at the door.
"Come on." He told them, ushering them out the door before following himself.
"Hurry!" Mi-ok called out to Cheong-san and Dae-su from the hall.
After a few more seconds, Cheong-san abandoned his spot, grabbing Dae-su by his vest and pulling him along before sprinting out of the classroom with him at last.
