The Doctor's P.O.V
She collapsed right into Amy's arms, almost making her tip over.
"Ugh." She groaned, lugging her towards me."Heavy things, Time Lords are."
I glared at her while picking up the Dreamer. When I adjusted my arm under her back, her eyes shot open.
"Let's do things!" She said.
I didn't realize this before, but her eyes were a shade of green, exactly like mine.
"Whoa, calm down. Sleep time, right?" I said, looking down at her with raised eyebrows.
"But I want to goooo!" She whined, squirming like a small child. "Come on, Doc! Doctor. Sorry. But you know as well as anyone that exploring is extremely important!"
That's true.
"Yes, but safety is most important." I said cautiously.
I winced. I sounded like a patronizing parent, or authority figure!
"You sound like my mom sounded. You're supposed to be the nine-hundred year-old nine year-old, remember." She said softly, touching my nose gently.
"You're not done regenerating." I stated, trying to keep a smile out of my voice and off my face. "You need to sleep."
She rolled her eyes, groaned and threw her head back dramatically.
"Boo you!" She sighed.
I lifted her head up to mine and raised my eyebrows.
"Sorry." She whispered, kissing me on the cheek.
I smiled as I carried her upstairs. I brushed hair away from her forehead and frowned. It was very cold, and I didn't like it.
"Mr. Pond!" I called out. "You're a nurse as you like to state ever so often, so can you look at her?"
"It's Mr. Williams, that's not how it works!"
"Yes, yes it is." The Dreamer and I said to the disgruntled man.
I looked down at her, smiling largely.
The Dreamer fluttered her eyes closed then opened them in fear.
"I don't like it." She whispered, grabbing some of my shirt in her hand.
"Don't like what?" Rory asked, scrunching his eyebrows.
"The Pit. The voice. The shadow that talks and changes." She mumbled, pulling on my finger.
I sat her down in the jump seat and studied her terrified face.
"What do you mean." I asked slowly.
"A-A shadow, was there... He wanted to hurt me. Always changing, but I could never see him." The Dreamer whispered, focusing on something behind me. "The voice welcomed me to the Pit. Then I was swept away down the hall."
I furrowed my eyebrows. Furrowed! I love that word.
"No more." She whispered to me, grabbing the collar of my shirt, pressing her lips in a thin line. "No more."
I widened my eyes and stared at her.
"What do you mean by 'no more'?" I said, biting my lip.
"What are you talking about?" The Dreamer laughed. "Ice skating! Let's go!"
She grabbed my hand but I pulled her back. Those are words from a vague past. A past we both want to forget.
"What did you mean." I stated through gritted teeth.
"Doctor. You're hurting my arm. Let go!" She said, twisting her arm and looking at me with a frightened expression. I saw tears well up in her eyes as she attempted to push me. "You're scaring me. Doctor, please."
I snapped out of my trance and let her arm go, as she backed away to the console.
"You had what he had in his eyes that night." She whispered, almost falling against the console.
I felt my insides shrivel up. She was talking about the Master.
•Flashback•
"Please! Let me go!" A shriek cut through the hazy air as I ran towards the TARDIS warehouse.
I knew that voice too well.
"Master, please! Please, let me go!" The voice pleaded before sobbing loudly.
I ran desperately around to search where the voice was coming from.
"Master." I greeted him with a low voice. "Let Eri-That woman go."
She stared at me, shrinking more as tears fell down her face rapidly. All I wanted to was run to her, pull her close to me and tell her everything would be alright. But the Master would kill her right then. He dropped her on the ground and I winced. I felt her eyes bore into mine as I faced the Master.
"Don't be irrational, my Doctor." She thought in my mind.
•End of Flashback•
I stood there, tears threatening to spill over. I get emotional, but not this emotional.
"I-It's okay Doctor." She said, giving me a sad half-smile. "It really is. You didn't realize. Lets just go ice skating."
I stood there, nodding incoherently.
She returned to her new, extremely bouncy and childish personality. She used to be so fiery, sarcastic but kind sometimes. She seemed almost exactly like me.
"Doctor! Universe to Doctor!" She yelled, waving a hand in front of my face.
I grabbed it and kissed her hand.
"C'mon, lets go Doctor! Imreallyreallyreallyexcitedthiswillbesofun!" She said really fast, dragging me out the door.
I've skated before! A few regenerations ago, but none the less, I can do it.
We rented skates and bought passes at the arena.
"Honey, do you need help?" She asked me sweetly, looking at my confused expression.
I shook my head furiously and blushed as she did up my skates. It's been a long time, okay!
She grabbed my hand and wobbled about before falling straight on her butt. She grabbed the penalty box fencing for stability. I grabbed onto her waist in fear of falling.
"Dreamer, I did this a few pairs of legs ago."

The Dreamer's P.O.V
"Me too Doc, me too." I whined.
I fell onto the ground, giving up, taking the Doctor with me.
"C'mon, lets do this!" I yelled.
The rink was practically empty, except for an old couple who was looking at us sympathetically.
I glided about, finally getting into it. The Doctor slid awkwardly and slowly towards me, his legs splayed.
"I am the Oncoming Storm." He muttered, windmilling his arms to stay steady.
"That's nice, honey." I mumbled, focusing on my legs.
The Doctor fell onto the ice, landing on his hip and yelling out.
"It hurts." He whined, pulling on my pant leg.
I lifted him up and groaned.
"Let's go!" I said, the Doctor leaning on my shoulder.
"But we just got here!" He complained.
"Oh, shut up!"

The Doctor's P.O.V
We arrived back at the TARDIS, me clutching an ice bag to my side.
"Ice is bad." I muttered under my breath.
"What, love?" The Dreamer asked fiddling with the top of her shirt and frowning.
"Missing! That's it!" She cried out.
She ran upstairs to our room and slammed the door. I considered going up there, but decided against it. She ran excitedly downstairs, pulling at something, at the top of her collared shirt.
"Is that a bow tie?" I asked, smiling at her.
"They're cool." She proclaimed.
