The Doctor's P.O.V
I awoke to empty arms but a warm bed, and I heard the shower running.
"In the light that falls at moonrise.
In the rhythm of the rain
In the miracle of ordinary days.
In the hush of night I will be in the whisper of lovers.
Everywhere, you will find me there." The Dreamer sang quietly from the washroom.
I remember the tune. It was from an odd movie she made me watch with Rory and Amy a week ago. Mount Crist? No, Counting Mount Christo? No, Count Mount Christo? Close. Count of Mount Christo? Wait! Count of Monte Cristo! There we go! I quickly got dressed, but I couldn't find my coat anywhere. It must've been in the bathroom.
"In the rustle of a curtain.
In the bustle of the world.
In a thousand little unexpected ways.
When you lift your gaze I will be like the shimmer of one small star.
Out there, shining everywhere." I whispered, smiling. The Dreamer repeated my words, a bit louder.
"I will be there beside you through the lonely nights that fall.
So close your eyes, remember my embrace.
I will be there like mercy; I will find you through it all.
This do I swear, I will be there." She sang, the shower water stopping.
Her voice wasn't perfect, but I thought it was.
"In a language never spoken.
Live the promises we've made.
In the endless love that owned me heart and soul.
In the certainty I will always be true.
And as near as my next prayer, you will find me there."
She mumbled, coming out of the bathroom, rubbing her hair with a towel.
"In the echo of the ocean
In the hunting of the wind
In mysterious extraordinary ways.
Through the darkest sky I will be like the shimmer of one small star.
Out there, shining everywhere." I murmured, grabbing her hands and spinning her about the room.

"I will be there beside you through the lonely nights that fall.
So close your eyes, remember my embrace.
I will be there like freedom; I will find you through it all." The Dreamer sang, her eyes filling with tears.
We sang the rest of the song quietly, me occasionally wiping mine and the Dreamer's small tears away. I swear this song applies to us.
"In the sound of laughter." I whispered to her bending down slightly to look at her.
"Now, and ever after." She said, caressing my cheek slightly. Our gaze never broke.
"This I do swear, I'll be there."
"This I do swear, I'll be there."
We said to each other quietly. The Dreamer flung herself into my arms and sobbed.
"Dreamer? What's wrong?" I asked frantically, sitting down in the chair with her in my lap. She tucked her feet up and didn't say a word, just cried.
"W-When I was on Earth, I thought of giving up on you. I thought of not living anymore." She whispered, messing about with my bow tie. "I thought that without you, I had nothing to live for anymore. I was going to kill myself, and refuse to regenerate."
I pulled her closer to me as my eyes filled up with tears. Years, and years of tears I never let out. Frustration, grief, anger, hatred.
I let it all out.

The Dreamer's P.O.V
The Doctor pulled me closer to him and I let tears fall rapidly down my face. The Doctor let out a strangled sound that I didn't know what was. I assumed that from the wetness that was growing on my shoulder blade, he was crying.
The Doctor picked me up and placed me on the chair, then left the room quickly, wiping his eyes furiously. I ran out the room to look for him. I followed the sound of his boots slapping on the ground, into the library. He stood at the large window, his hand resting against the side of it.
"Doctor?" I whispered quietly, my vision blurring. "I understand if you want me to go home now. If-If you don't want to talk to me."
He just turned to look at me, then glanced away. He sat himself on a table, looking down and away from me. (See picture to side/top)
I was about to turn and walk out of the room when my head began to split open. Well, it felt like it was splitting open. I fell to my knees, grabbing my head and shaking it. I let out a small animal-like sound.
"O-Ow." I whispered, shaking slightly.
I felt hands sweep hair from my face.
"Dreamer? Dreamer?" The voices calling my name sounded like I was underwater, until they faded altogether. I fell forward into something that smelled nice. It smelled like the Doctor, he smells nice.
Sometimes.
The pain in my head increased and I finally screamed. And screamed, and screamed until I passed out.
*Dream*
I stood by the TARDIS as the Doctor looked at me sadly. His head was wrapped with a bandage, but was still bleeding slightly.
"Please. Don't make me go!"
I pleaded, touching his shoulder lightly.
He pushed me away as a tear fell from his eye. I felt my own stream down my face.
"I don't want to." He whispered, brushing a stray hair from my face. My hair was brown, just like the Doctor's. I was tall like him, but still shorter than him.
"Then don't!" I cried, grabbing his hand in mine.
He shook his head and tore his hand away.
"Who's going to save the universe if I go instead?" He whispered, not bothering to wipe away his fast-falling tears.
"We both don't have to go! Please let me stay." I screamed, fighting off the arms that were grabbing me from behind.
"We can't both survive this." He said, turning towards me. The Doctor collected me into a hug and rested his chin upon my head.
"In the future, I'll figure it out. And I'll come back before they can start anything." He mumbled into my hair.
I curled my fingers into his shirt and cried out as the arms tore me away from him.
"Promise me!" I shouted.
The Doctor just shook his head.
"I can't."
*End of Dream*
I gasped, sitting up straight in bed.
"No!" I cried, shaking with sobs. "Don't make me go."
The Doctor burst into the room looking around until he spotted me on the bed.
"Dreamer! I love you!" He whispered, pulling me into his lap so my head was resting against his chest. I curled my fingers around his shirt material.
"You made me go." I whispered. "I didn't want to go."
"What are you talking about?" He asked, pulling me closer and rubbing my back. I did the same to him.
"In my dream, you-" I trailed off, realizing something. That was the future. He can't know the future. "Spoilers."
"I can't know those, now can I?" He sighed, running his fingers through my hair.
"Nobody can." I answered.
Except for me.

I DIDNT END WITH A CLIFFHANGER THIS TIME!
Well, I sorta did.
