So far we were about a few miles away from Waflen City, our hometown. Deli was asleep in my backpack, and Blue was looking at the map multiple times for some reason. I guess she was worried about getting lost or something.

Just then, Deli woke up to hear something. She jumped out of my backpack and ran away fast. "Deli, wait!" I called. "C'mon guys, after her!" We all tried to catch her, but she was too fast. Just then, she stopped. "Oh, its just a creeper." Fan said with relief. "Just a creeper?! That thing could explode on us!" Kaylz scolded as she started shaking Fan. I grabbed my sword and killed the creeper with a single, powerful hit. "Piece of cake," I shrugged. But when even more creepers came running after us, I knew this was NOT a piece of cake. "Guys, help me kill these creepers!" I shouted. Everyone nodded and helped me. Deli was running around in circles trying to scare away the creepers, with mediocre success.

Just then I heard a hiss from the biggest creeper in the group. We all paused for a minute, our eyes widened. "Don't just stand there!" Travis suddenly shouted. "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!" We all ran, and all of the creepers exploded as we did. Deli looked around, wondering where the creepers were when she was suddenly snatched by a creature of some sort. "Hey! Wait!" Blue called out. "Follow him!" We got up and ran after the mysterious creature, hoping to get Deli back.

We ran for about 5 minutes until we got to a big, thick tree. The creature, which we figured out was a wolf, dropped Deli and growled at us as we gasped for breath. "This animal... she was captured by humans like you! She must be released into the wild at once!" He barked angrily. "No animal should be kept as pets! Not even this poor ocelot!" "Excuse me Mister Wolf-with-no-manners," I started. "But I'm a fox-human hybrid. Plus, Deli is perfectly happy being with us. NOW PUT HER DOWN!" With that, Deli hissed resentfully at the wolf. "Fine," the wolf agreed reluctantly as he put Deli down. "But she will one day come back to me to be protected." I didn't believe a single word he said. Blue, Chad and Fan frowned at him.

"I'm getting kind of hungry," Kaylz admitted. "Me, too," Blue agreed. It looked and sounded like everyone else was hungry as well, since I heard a few stomachs growl including mine. "Ok," I agreed. "Lets eat our lunch here. I'm sure-" "But Chip," interrupted Fan. "We don't have any food." "You're right." I agreed as I hungrily looked at the wolf, who had been following us. Everyone else looked at it, too. "Don't even think about using me as food," he growled.

Just then, the wolf saw a sheep. "Don't move." He ordered. "I will be right back." And who put you in charge? I wondered, feeling slightly annoyed. I watched as he ran after the sheep, killing it. He came back with some raw mutton. "Eat up," The wolf said as he gave it to me. "Thanks," I sighed. I got my flint and steel, and I cooked the mutton. I shared some with everyone else, of course.

"Thanks for the food," Blue thanked as we packed up and walked away. The wolf bowed and wagged his tail a little.

Soon, the sun started to set. "Lets set up camp here," Travis suggested. I nodded and then pulled out the tent that I packed. It could hold 7 people, which was perfect for us.

A little while after we got into bed, I saw Rocket sitting on her sleeping bag with sadness in her eyes. I went up to her. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I already miss home," Rocket replied as she looked at her feet. "Its ok," I said calmly. "Maybe you're just not used to sleeping somewhere away from home. But don't be homesick; after all, I'm still here, right?" A smile formed on Rockets face, and I gave her a hug.

"I'll do my best," she said bravely. "Thanks, Chip."
