The breeze blew in my face as we were sailing, and it felt nice. Squids were jumping out of the water, and I even saw someone fishing on an island. The smell of salty water was amazing somehow, and I could hear the sound of waves lightly rolling across the water. Hunger and thirst aside, it was almost like a dream.

A few hours later, we made it, and we finally got a chance to drink some water and eat breakfast. The ocean wasn't that big, so it didn't take long to cross.

"Ok, lets take a look at the map..." Travis decided as he opened the map. "Apparently we have to cross the Tippy Treetops, and after that we cross Cold Crystal Mountain." "How much longer until we get to Minetopia?" Rocket moaned. "We've been traveling for days." "We have to get across..." Travis started as he opened the map again. "hmm, lets see... after crossing Cold Crystal mountain...a town and five places. It takes longer to get there than you think." Travis' answer only made Rocket groan.

We continued walking. Tippy treetops looked amazing. There were lots of flowers and animals so it was a nice view. If I could, I'd probably move there with Rocket and Deli just for the amazing view. I quickly took a picture, then continued walking.

A little while later, we made it to a bridge. Blue saw a sign that said, "Now entering: Cold Crystal Mountain. You'd better put on a warm coat cause its gonna be freezing!" "Lets just camp here for the night," Blue suggested, since the sun was beginning to set. "No! Wait!" Fan interrupted. "Lets explore first!" "Nah, I'm tired so we should camp here." "No, c'mon, I wanna explore!" "We can explore in the morning!" "We can also do it now! Please, Blue?" "No! If I walk one more step, both my legs are gonna fall off! We're going to camp!" "Explore!" "Camp!" "Explore!" "Camp!" Deli and Firefang rolled their eyes as Blue and Fan spent the next 5 minutes arguing about whether they should camp for the night or explore in the mountains.

"Ok," I interrupted, tired of hearing the two of them bicker. "Why don't we do rock paper scissors?" "Okay," Blue agreed, then started a game of rock paper scissors with Fan. Fan had won because he had paper and Blue had rock. So we decided to put our winter clothes on and see what Cold Crystal Mountain had.

It was very cold, hence the name. There were also a lot of zombies, skeletons and creepers that we had to fight. "I heard t-t-this mountains temperatures c-c-can...get as low as...m-minus 53!" Travis said as he shivered from the cold. Wow... I thought since there was too much snow blowing in my face to actually talk.

The higher we climbed up the mountain, the more we shivered. Deli even got frostbite on her poor little toes, so I put her in my backpack to stay warm. "We should have went with B-Blues idea," Firefang chattered. "Its t-too dangerous to climb a m-mountain at night with t-this much snow blowing in our f-faces!" We were getting high and it was almost like a blizzard.

About 15 minutes later, we made it to a small cave made of ice. We started gasping for air since we were having trouble breathing with all the snow blowing in our faces. I started a fire and placed a cold, tired Deli near it so she could be warm. All of us were tired, so we pulled out our sleeping bags and, with poor Deli who was still cold in my arms, I went to sleep.

I woke up in the middle of the night to hear whimpering and growling. It was dark, but I sat up to try and figure out what was going on when I saw that the whimpering and growling was coming from Firefang. "No...no..." he muttered in his sleep. I lightly stroked him when he got up and howled, "No! I'm not your prisoner!" "Firefang?" I mumbled since I was still half asleep. "Its just a dream." "The dream I've had every night since it happened..." he muttered.

"Long, long ago when I was a pup, my parents and I lived in Minetopia. We were fighting in a war that started. A mysterious monster known as the ender dragon came since he had not been there for a long time. All the players and mobs took part in the war, and they won, but many of them died, including my parents. I was only four weeks old at the time. I was scared, alone and didn't know what to do. The dragon fled because he was about to die, but before he did, he picked me up, put me in some sort of cage, hurt me very badly, and then let me go. That's also where the scar across my eye came from. Until I met you and your friends, I was by myself and had to survive on my own. Ever since the war ended, I've been having dreams about my parents dying and me getting hurt by the dragon. It scares me and I often howl and cry in the middle of the night."

"I'm very sorry to hear that..." I said as I stroked him, trying to make him feel better. "It must be sad, living without parents. Y'know, Rocket and I never see our parents much either, since they're always busy and we live in different houses." "Chip?" mumbled Chad as he rubbed his eyes. "Whats going on?" "Firefang had a bad dream," I whispered. "Just try to go back to sleep, ok? We have to climb the rest of the mountain tomorrow." I got back into bed with Firefang cuddling up to Deli to keep warm, since even his thick coat of fur wasn't enough to keep him warm from the snow.

The next morning, I was the last one to wake up which was weird since I was usually the first one. I shoved my clothes on and ate an apple for breakfast. "The blizzard is still going on," Chad commented worriedly. "Don't worry," Kaylz reassured. "We're halfway across the mountain. We have the other half and then we can all have a warm bath after getting across the next city."

Climbing the mountain was harder than it was yesterday. We had even more trouble breathing, and Rocket almost blew away from the strong wind. Scrambling on some rocks, I finally made it to the top, then pulled Rocket up since her rope broke as she tried to climb. Almost falling down from being so cold, everyone else got to the top as well. "Finally! We made it!" Blue cheered. "Sort of..." Fan said. "We still have to climb down, though." "True..." Blue sighed as we started our way down.

"Wait," Travis stopped us for a moment. "The snow is so thick that we could slide down instead." "That's true," Chad added. "Ok then," Rocket agreed. "Lets do it!" I found a flat stone with enough room to hold all of us, then slid down as we cheered and screamed. Rocket held on tight to my backpack every time we were about to go down a slope.

After we made it to the bottom of the hill, we took our winter clothes off. Blue brushed the snow out of her hair as we started walking. "Whats with all the balloons?" Kaylz asked as she looked at something ahead. "I think its Mushroom City. They're having a balloon festival today," Fan replied. "Lets go check it out!" "But we can't. We're still on our way to Minetopia," I confronted. A dissapointed expression formed on everyones face. "Although, we do have to cross Mushroom City...ok, I guess we can spend maybe an hour or so there." As we came in, I could see millions and millions of rubber balloons hovering above the ground. In fact, we couldn't look anywhere without seeing at least fifty balloons.

"Chip! Look in the sky!" Travis said as he pointed to four beautifully designed hot air balloons floating in the sky. "This...This is amazing!!!" I commented happily. We went to a quiet spot that didn't have a lot of people, and we watched the balloons. I sat down next to Blue. "Chip..." Blue said quietly. "So far I've really enjoyed this journey. We've made a lot of great memories so far, such as watching the hot air balloons with you, and I want to keep them when our journey is finished. Thank you for taking me on the journey, Chip. You're a really good friend." I smiled as I thought of how amazing the journey was so far. "You are too, Blue. Thank you for coming," I whispered. Watching the balloons felt like a dream come true.

Pretty soon it was time to go. After I took some pictures, we packed up our stuff and left Mushroom City. "I heard the next place is kinda hot and relaxing," Chad told us as he looked at the map. "From what I've heard, theres a small volcano nearby." I wonder what kind of place it is? I thought as we continued walking.
